Top 10 Bangkok Ballrooms launches its list of the best in 2024. This recognition reflects and celebrates the style and diversity of hotel meeting spaces under 900 square metres in the Thai capital. Thanks to the power of A.I. this list is generated by leveraging artificial intelligence as well as a structured audit of venues. There are probably many who may have a different opinion but A.I. has spoken.

This, the first annual list of Bangkok’s finest ballrooms for small to mid-sized events provides a snapshot of some of the best spaces for stylish occasions, in addition to being a barometer for local and global event planning trends.

The list came about when David Barrett, a veteran events professional in Thailand, attended Techsauce, an annual gathering of thousands of young digital disrupters and dynamic start up entrepreneurs. In this bustling congregation of the digital minded, an unexpected collaboration took shape. Barrett, grappling with the palpable generational gap that separated him from the tech-savvy crowd, crossed paths with two young tech prodigies. Seizing the opportunity to bridge the generational abyss, he presented them with a unique challenge—to harness the power of generative A.I. and adept big data management to compile an exclusive list: the Top 10 ballrooms in Bangkok.

The task at hand required a precise blend of parameters. These included a deep dive into the online presence and SEO optimization of hotels promoting their meeting spaces. Additionally, a qualifying criteria required hotels to have a central city location within seven kilometers of CentralWorld, a pivotal hub in the city, and 14 other discerning benchmarks. To ensure a comprehensive evaluation, input was solicited from a small pocket of experts who conducted incognito inspections of hotel meeting spaces.

Armed with this amalgamation of criteria and expert insights, the two ingenious Generation Z techies set out to craft an algorithm capable of handling Big Data. The result? A triumph of artificial intelligence, presenting the Top 10 list of ballrooms each having a gross floor space under 900 square meters. The list includes the biggest, the smallest, the newest and venues boasting natural daylight and state of the art technology.

David commented that the list is not influenced by any financial factors as no hotels paid to be included in the listing or decisions influenced from any other dealings.

The intriguing results of a comprehensive exploration into Big Data and the generative A.I.-engineered list unveils Four Seasons Bangkok's Grand Ballroom as the ultimate winner. Siam Kempinski's expansive 900 sq.m Chandra ballroom secures a spot in the Top 10, pushing the limits of maximum space parameter. Surprisingly, Praya Palazzo's compact Rom Pho meeting room earns a coveted place on the list. Notably the Top 10 does not include many of the major players with massive ballrooms as their prestigious spaces exceed the 900 sq.m threshold for this test of A.I.

The Top 10 Bangkok Ballrooms is aimed at providing guidance to meeting planners, inspiring event organizers to consider, inspect and contract flexible and exceptional spaces.
