Help for the Blades of the Darkmoon

Being summoned for the Blue Sentinels or Blades of the Darkmoon is near impossible, and grinding concords kept out of silver knights is painstakingly time consuming. Unfortunately, the Way of Blue has no rewards and hence the membership is extremely low. Therefore, I propose more people spend their enkindled state in the Way of Blue when not trying to work on other covenants. You don’t have to gang up on the invader if you prefer to be honorable. I myself intend to let the Blue Phantoms earn their reward while I clear the area of enemies. If they fail, I’ll let the invader heal, bow, and give them another duel myself.

Those guys teaming up on Aldrich Faithfuls and wasting their time just to soul grind? Do me a favor and flood the area just after Pontiff Sulyvahn with red Sunlight Warrior signs. Unless the summoner looks closely at it, they’ll think you’re an ally. Wear the Untrue Dark Ring to further hide yourself. After an Aldrich Faithful or two invade, find a good moment to turn on the summoner. Help some people get their covenant rank, reverse some dishonor back onto jerks, and have a little fun.

GIGANTIC HERO PORTRAIT DUMP (haha get it?? GET IT??? no wait come back)

As is often the way with game dev life, most of what I work on ends up being hidden under NDA for months and months before it hits the public and I’m able to share it, which means sometimes I forget I actually have things to share!

One of my main responsibilities at Motiga is creating the “official” portraits of the heroes that get used both in and outside of the game client. While the workload is usually split pretty evenly with my cohort @thatssodagley, occasionally we come together for collaborative efforts (ie: Aisling and Sir Cador) and I don’t think I’m ever going to get tired of how seamlessly our work fits together.

Curse the shit out of a PC and make it known that the main quest will not lead to it being lifted.

Just throwing this out there completely at random: a Minotaur's amulet actually cursed him into that form, and taking it will immediately transform the PC.

I'm currently DMing a game with four players who are completely new to tabletop RPGs. They love it, but they're adamant in staying on the 'main story' path I've created in a homebrew world, despite little curiosities and interesting things I've placed here and there. How can I encourage them to explore the world more rather than powering through the main quest? (I'm relatively new to DMing, i'm not completely sure this is even a good idea)

The best way to encourage exploring, I think, is with sweet, sweet loot. Present them with tangible incentives off of the beaten path (–maybe that can HELP them with the main conflict, if they’re laser focused?) 

But maybe the stakes of the main plot are super high! That’s great! If everybody is having fun, I’d say don’t stress about it and embrace what the players want to do!
