With such a weakness for the uncommon, I like to write stories that break the mold. The unique characters, the uncharted paths, audacious ideas that make the bold look shy. Basically, if it involves words, I'll write it--and if there are no words, I'll write about it anyway.

A Silk-Weaver's Dilemma
As Quinn stepped through the doors of the new downtown library, her thoughts drifted to her girlfriend waiting for her at the apartment. For a moment, she had an urge to go home. But she really wanted those chemistry books for her project, and since she was already here…
Just as she expected, the pretty and enthusiastic library clerk she saw the week prior was seated at one of the front desks, her gaze already fixed on Quinn.
The phone in her pocket buzzed silently. She answered it without taking her eyes off the clerk, giving the girl the impression that they were watching each other. Quinn looked away when the girl blushed.
“I’ll be home soon, kitten. I just got here. Okay, love. Bye.”
She hung up the phone and glanced up, cautiously. To Quinn’s dismay, the girl waved her over.
“Hi,” Quinn said reaching in her bag.
“It’s good to see you again. I’m Elena,” she said putting a hand on her chest. “How can I help you?”
“Nice to meet you,” Quinn replied, glancing at the soft flesh her hand was pressing into. “Uh, do you have these two books?”
“Oh…you’re a chemist.”
“Yeah…student.”
“You know what? My computer is down.”
“Oh, I can wait for one of them—“
“Nope, just follow me. I’ll take you.”
Elena came around the counter without acknowledging Quinn’s objections.
“It’s okay. I just wanted to check before I went up. I can do it myself—“
“Oh, pish posh. It’s no trouble.”
Quinn almost rolled her eyes. She was going to have to be firm with this one. Her girlfriend had been the same way, in the beginning.
“This isn’t the time, Miss. You should stay here. I insist.”
Elena stopped. She gave Quinn a serious look as if to consider her words, and her tone, but then took one look at Quinn’s muscled arms squeezing through her sleeves and was hypnotized. Her eyes glazed over as Quinn’s presence suddenly made her feel as if she were high. She no longer played coy or tried to mask her flirtatious smile.
“I wouldn’t dare pass up the chance to be alone with someone as cute as you. Follow me.”
Quinn blushed as she hesitated, but she still looked over her shoulder to see if another clerk happened to be free.
None.
“Follow me, handsome,” Elena said, walking slowly up the stairs.
Quinn sighed. She wasn’t interested in being flirted with today. She just wanted her books and to go home. She looked up and could see underneath Elena’s mini skirt. This girl seemed eager to play with someone today.
Quinn let out another controlled breath and followed her. Everything began moving in slow motion then. The sway of Elena’s skirt moved so slowly it flipped up just enough for Quinn to see the pink panties she wore. The back of Elena’s legs were so close to her sight that she could see the golden baby like hairs and goosebumps slowly popping up on her skin as she unknowingly reacted to the veil Quinn was secretly weaving around them. Before Quinn knew what happened, she bumped into Elena’s ass. She raised her hands in the air once she realized she was holding onto the clerk’s hips who was now bending over in front of her.
“Sorry. Dropped my sticky note,” Elena said as she stood back up. She looked down between them and smiled up at closeness of their bodies.
Quinn detected the scent of her excitement.
“I can take it from here. Just point the way.”
“We’re almost there,” Elena smiled and patted Quinn’s arm. She stopped, blindly caressing that arm, squeezing it as she moved down to her elbow.
“My god. You’re built like a man.”
Quinn frowned. “I am a man.”
“But you’re a girl…”
“And your point is?”
“I’m confused.” Elena moved closer and whispered. “Do you have a —?”
“Can I get those books, please? I have to be somewhere.”
“Meeting a sexy someone, somewhere?”
Quinn simply looked at her.
Elena moved closer and placed her hands on Quinn’s chest before she could stop her.
“God. You’re magnificent.”
“Thank you. I need those books so I can go.”
“Why the hurry?” Elena, her gaze full of need, “You know…there’s a room back there where we could be all alone.”
Trying her best to look impatient, she replied, “No thanks. I gotta go.”
Elena pulled up her shirt and Quinn stopped in her tracks.
“You’ve seen mine, it’s only polite to show me yours.”
Quinn was breathing a little harder now. She shook her head, trying to stay in control.
“Don’t do this.”
Quinn thought to produce a silk burst so that she could escape the girl’s presence, but the stronger Elena came onto her, her own hunger intensified.
“I have a girlfriend.”
“Lucky, lucky girl. Are you going home to ravage her?”
Letting go of any pretext, Quinn responded truthfully just to frighten her. “I’m going to home to feed off her, yes.” She stared into Elena’s eyes to drive home the point.
“If you follow me to that office back there, you can eat me instead.”
Elena wrapped her arms around Quinn’s neck, pulling her into her naked breasts. The softness and warmth spread over Quinn’s chest, permeating her shirt easily.
“Shit.”
She pushed at Elena, but the clerk only wrapped a leg around her waist and rubbed herself against the bulge in Quinn’s pants.
“Oh my god,” Elena gasped as she snaked her hips around. “I’ve never met a hermaphrodite.”
“Who said I was a hermaphrodite?”
“You’re a man and a woman.”
“Get your damn hands off me.”
Quinn managed to rip the girl away from her body.
“Please,” Elena pleaded. “I’m not like this all the time, I just want you so badly. The first day I saw you, I just…needed you.”
Quinn, intrigued, stopped from turning away and turned around. She looked at Elena with fascination.
“What is it you need me for?”
The question surprised Elena, causing her to become quite guarded, as if she were reluctant to be open with Quinn.
“I don’t know,” she said, sounding like a shy little girl now.
Quinn moved closer to increase her distress. “You said you want me. So, what do you want?”
“For you to fuck me.”
“Is that all?”
“What more is there?”
“You want me to fuck you, then disappear?”
“If you come to my place, we can, maybe, hang out afterward.”
“Hang out,” Quinn repeated. “I don’t hang out.”
“Right. You have a girlfriend.”
“That I feed on,” Quinn looked at her as if she had just lost her mind.
“I want to experience that.”
“The only reason you want that is because you think I’m talking about something sexual.”
“Aren’t you…talking about eating pussy?”
Quinn smiled.
“When I get home…my girl will be waiting for me, kneeling on the floor, in the corner. I don’t ask her to do this, she does it because she is compelled to.” Quinn started moving closer to her.
Not realizing her breasts were still out Elena started walking backward.
“My girl is afraid of me, but she is also obsessed with me. Is that what you want?”
Elena nodded as if that would be true for any girl who had Quinn.
“She loves and fears my touch. It frightens her when I get aroused, because I am violent when I love her.”
“Yes,” Elena whispered still walking backward in blind fear. “I love it rough.”
Quinn grinned at her, looking down and soaking in the sight of her beautiful, large nipples. She could see Elena relaxing a bit, and grabbed the clerk around the neck before she could blink.
“My girl doesn’t like it rough, but she tolerates it,” Quinn said hotly against Elena’s cheek as she suddenly released her neck. “When I kiss her lips, it stings. When I suck her nipples, she tries to push me away. You see, my touch…hurts. But like I said, she’s obsessed with me, therefore she tolerates it just to be near me.”
“I want that. Please, I want to be near you.”
Quinn tilted her head. “Aww, you really don’t know what it is you’re wanting. If you did, trust me, you wouldn’t want it.”
“She’s your slave. You’re submissive, I get that.”
“No, darling. She’s my repas.”
Elena frowned.
“My sustenance.”
“Like…food?”
Agitated, Quinn replied, “Yes.”
Elena laughed out loud then covered her mouth as she looked around to make sure no one had been disturbed. Then realized something. No one was looking at them. Especially with her tits exposed.
“No, don’t cover them up. I’m enjoying them.”
Elena turned to look at the man sitting at one of the desks, oblivious to the two of them. She frowned again.
“Why isn’t—?”
A small smile spread over Quinn’s lips as she continued stalking the clerk down the long rows of shelves.
Her hunger was growing.
Her heart was racing, her groin was aching.
Her eyes were transitioning on their own.
“No one can see us but you.”
Elena let out a nervous laugh. “Are you a ghost or something?”
“No, I’m not,” Quinn smiled.
“Why isn’t anyone looking at us?”
“They cannot look at…what they cannot see.”
Elena was becoming nervous. Her nipples hardened another fraction and Quinn licked her lips.
Recalling all the movies she’d ever seen, Elena suddenly brightened at a wild thought.
“Oh, you must be a vampire.”
They both laughed then. Quinn smiled, showing Elena her teeth.
“My canines are nice and pointed, but not to the point of being Vampyre. Come on. Do you really believe that?”
Elena, not liking the way she even said the word vampire, suddenly turned serious. “I-I don’t know. What’s happening to your eyes?”
“I don’t mean to scare. I just want to see you more clearly.”
“Well, stop it. It’s freaking me out.”
“Sorry, love. It happens when I get hungry. Still want to feed me?”
Elena’s eyes began to water.
“Now you get scared? Most people are afraid of me at first sight. And they don’t get to see as much as you’re seeing now.”
“Can we go back downstairs?”
“What’s wrong? I begged you to let me find these books alone, but you were so eager to come with me. Wanting that pussy touched and teased so badly that here we are. So, let me touch you.”
Tears rolled down Elena’s cheeks even though she wasn’t sure why.
Quinn slid her back pack from her shoulder and slowly set it on the floor as she continued walking toward Elena.
“Still wanna see me naked?”
Quinn unbuttoned her shirt slowly and opened it. Elena’s eyes widened at the large red mark in the center of Quinn’s chest. Working in a library for a few years had taught her a few things. And that mark reminded her of something she’d seen on a spider. It didn’t have the appearance of a permanent tattoo nor was it freshly painted, because it would’ve been all over Quinn’s shirt. How could the mark appear moist but not actually be wet? Elena couldn’t explain it or understand it herself.
“W-what is that?”
Quinn glanced down at her own chest, then lifted her eyes back to Elena, her gaze steady and intense. With a slow, deliberate movement, she traced her fingers over the mark. The gesture held Elena spellbound, her eyes locked onto the intricate lines beneath Quinn’s touch.
“Would you like to touch it?”
Elena, now filled with a mixture of arousal and fear, could hardly breathe. She shook her head quickly.
“Yes you do. Everyone who’s seen it has wanted to touch it. That was my girl’s mistake.”
Elena wrapped her arms around her body which made her naked breasts bulge.
Quinn rolled her eyes. “God, you gotta do something. Either touch me or stop walking away from me.”
“I don’t know what’s going on.”
“You said I could feed off you.”
“I said you could eat me but clearly we’re not talking about the same thing.”
“Oh, I don’t know. I think we are,” Quinn said, removing the leather glove from her left hand.
Elena’s eye widened as she observed the purple tint of Quinn’s fingers that gradually darkened into sharp, black nails. She covered her mouth to keep from screaming, forgetting that no one could see or hear them anyway.
“I would take this finger,” Quinn stopped to slide it into her mouth, then pulled it out slowly, “and draw a sensual line from your anus to your clit, slowly back and forth until you are dripping wet for me.”
Quinn smiled as Elena’s eyes rolled back.
“Then I would lay you on the table in front of those people and spread your legs. You would then feel my mouth kissing down your knee, your thigh, to your wet lips as I take one side of them into my mouth.”
Elena struggled to stay balanced.
“What would I do next, my love?”
“You would—“
“I would sink my teeth into it until I tasted blood.”
“No,” Elena gasped suddenly as her arousal spiraled into a soft orgasm that made her knees buckle.
Quinn’s arms were moving so quickly, Elena felt as if she was spinning. When she stopped, she realized she was wrapped up tightly inside some type of cocoon. She moved around, but could feel her own arms wrapped securely around her torso. She couldn’t tell what she was surrounded with in her dazed state.
“What’s happening?” Elena mumbled, feeling as if she had been drugged.
“Don’t worry. Feeding off you will be the most intense experience you will ever have.”
“Please. No,” Elena muttered before her face was covered within the webbed encasing.
Quinn put her shirt back on and proceeded down the rows of desks and unsuspecting people, then down the stairs. Halfway down, she removed the reflective webs that hid them both just as the clerk who was sitting next to Elena’s area was coming up the stairs. The woman smiled. Quinn smiled back as she worked quickly, weaving thousands of delicate, feathery webs that acted as stringed mirrors.
The webs camouflaged the cocoon draped over her right shoulder, reflecting the surroundings to blend it into the environment. As the woman approached, Elena’s encased body gradually faded from view. The webs were so fine they were nearly invisible, with only the occasional sparkle catching the clerk’s eye—an illusion she may have dismissed as a trick of the light.
“Was Elena able to help you find what you were looking for?” the woman said.
“No, but I was able to find something to satisfy me for now.”
“Oh…well, maybe we can use my computer to see if you can find them at another branch.”
“Sure, but another time though. I have to get home. I’m starving.”
“I hear you. I could use a little snack break myself.”
“Next time I get hungry, I just might have to join you.”
“Oh…yes. Okay. Take care now.”
Quinn descended the remaining stairs, her steps deliberate and poised. She almost smiled at the relief her girlfriend would feel once she found out Quinn would be dining elsewhere tonight.
She had earned a day off.
As she reached the bottom and headed through the lobby, Quinn could feel the internal eyes on her as patrons watched her. Just then, the faintest glimmer of the vanished cocoon’s reflection flickered in the sunlight as she headed toward the glass doors. Quinn smiled to herself as a few glances were exchanged amongst them.
A shift had taken place, she was aware that they had all felt it. And the vague, unsettling sensation that none of them could fully understand only heightened their discomfort. However, just as quickly as the unsettling feeling appeared, it was dismissed, likely attributed to their imaginations.
Every shiver that rippled through the air vibrated along the tiny hairs of Quinn’s body, like a silent whisper passing between them as they all sensed that something was not right.
As she headed out the door, the unease gradually began to dissipate, leaving behind a heavily lingering curiosity.
A question…
One, wordless question that hung in the silence—impossible for any of them to ignore. Yet none of them was brave enough to ask.

Dialogue Needs a Home 2
"So when you told me you were with your mother, you were really with a guy."
"I'm sorry. I...I just--"
"I could care less about him, Justin. I'm more concerned about you lying to me." Sloan sighed and moved closer. "Which means you've lied to me twice now."
Justin didn't like the look on her face---that half smirk, half distant gaze she had when she was about to make a difficult decision. "No...wait. Please."
"I know that you're always safe, you're always clean when you've dated other women, but lying...leaves a stain. And that kind of hurt can't be washed away."
Justin couldn't believe the deeply pained expression in Sloan's eyes. He didn't think it was possible for her to feel that intensely. That realization cut him deeper than he'd ever expected.
More dialogue moving through my mind like a cloud of smoke. I have no home (or story) for it. If you're inspired, feel free to use it.

Dialogue Needs a Home
"Your sister tried to take something from me that belongs to you and she failed. Look at me. The only thing she got from me that night was a drunk fuck."
Dialogue is always swimming around in my head, with no story to live in. If you're inspired, feel free to use it.

The Spirit of Adonis
In love with mythic fiction...the story of Adonis being one of my favs. Working on a short story about what happened after he was killed by the wild boar.
"Welcome, Adonis," a voice booms from behind one of the dead-looking trees. “It is a shame we had to meet so soon. It seems Kallipygos and my dark, little queen have been ever-enamored with you,” his playful tone indicates a smile spreading across his lips.
Adonis can hear footsteps approaching, but can see no one.
“Tsk-tsk-tsk," Hades says with obvious regret. "A young divine who will never reach his Rite of Ascension. For that, you have my sympathies.”

Movies I regretted watching as a baby-kid...
Shogun Assassin
The Thing
Hellraiser
So, why did I watch them a few dozen times before the mother threw them out?
