A Journey of Resilience and Hope: An Urgent Call for Support ✊🏼💔

Hello everyone, 🌍

I am Mohammed Hussein Ismaeel, a 23-year-old Palestinian from Gaza. My life, and that of my family, has changed unimaginably because of the war. I write to you today hoping to find your support and assistance so we can overcome these harsh circumstances. 🙏🏼

My Family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

My family consists of five members: my mother Rajaa (51 years old), my father Hussein (58 years old), my sister Iman (18 years old), and my little sister Noor (13 years old). We used to live a simple life full of hope and ambition. Unfortunately, the war forced us to flee from our beloved home and seek refuge elsewhere. 🏠💔

The Beginning of the Crisis 🏚️

On October 7, after the war broke out, we had to leave our home and move to the Maghazi camp in central Gaza. We spent two and a half months there under unbearable conditions until missiles targeted the camp, taking the lives of two family members and injuring others. After that, our house was destroyed, and we lost all our memories and dreams. 🚪💥

Daily Struggles 🏕️

We fled to Rafah and then to Deir al-Balah, where I now live apart from my family in a tent that offers little comfort. My father suffered a hand injury, and my sister Iman contracted hepatitis due to malnutrition. I lost my job before graduation, and my studies in the MBA program were halted. Our lives have become a daily struggle for survival. 🍂

Hope and Prayer 🙏🏼

Every day we wake up hoping for the war to end, but fear continues to control us. We seek your help to get through this ordeal and return to our normal lives. We need your support to provide the necessary medical care for my family, resume our studies, and build a better future for us all. 🌟

Digital Art Raffle for Ahmad's Family

Hello everyone. I've decided to host a raffle to raise funds for my friend Ahmad (@ahmadwaleed55) and his family. His campaign is number 167 on the Vetted Gaza Fundraiser List by @/el-shab-hussein and @/nabulsi. Ahmad has been fundraising for his family since April, and still hasn't even reached 50% of the total amount needed. Currently, $9,420 / $25,000 has been raised to support Ahmad's family.

In my previous post, I explained the current situation with Ahmad's family, and that they urgently need to raise enough money to purchase a new tent for winter.

Then in May we were forced to leave Rafah and go to a shelter school in Al-Maghazi where we lived with 6 families in one classroom. Suddenly the school was bombed and we escaped certain death, so we were forced to move to a tent in the Mawasi area of ​​Khan Yunis where the sun’s rays began to burn our skin and melt our bodies. My children were afflicted with skin diseases and amoebiasis due to the scarcity and scarcity of water and the difficulty of bringing and carrying it from long distances under the scorching sun. On the shores of Gaza, where the horizon stretched endlessly, Khalil lived a life that seemed stable and secure. From his house overlooking the sea, he could hear the sound of crashing waves harmonizing with the sounds of the life he built through hard work and years of effort. 🏠💔 His studies in university as a sound engineer were a gateway to a promising future; his work in renting out large sound equipment used for parties and major events was his source of income, and the residential building he inherited from his father housed many families, ensuring a decent life for his own. 🎶🎤

But, in a single moment, everything changed. 🌪️

  Complete Destruction 🏚️💥

The war came like a storm, leaving nothing but ruin in its wake. The home that was considered a refuge for the family turned into rubble. The sound equipment that once spread joy throughout the city was silenced forever under the debris. The residential building, which was a continuous source of income, collapsed as if it had never existed.

Today, Khalil, along with his wife Omnia and their children Nasser, Adam, and Bara’a, live in a small tent in the southern sector, where there is no safety or stability. ⛺🔥 The tent offers no protection from the scorching heat of the day or the biting cold of the night. Emergency: Help Evacuate My Family From GAZA WAR

Dear Humanity,

I'm Haya from Gaza , from a family of 8 people: my parents, two sons, and four daughters (two of them suffer from allergies).

I've witnessed the evidence of the tragedy that has struck our lives in Gaza, where my family and I have survived amidst numerous previous wars. But today, we face the most dangerous and fierce battle in the current war. The urgent need intensifies for us, as we have nothing left and are unable to secure our basic needs such as food, water, and safe shelter.

Here is our story - On October 7th, our lives changed forever, my family and I evacuated from northern Gaza to southern Gaza, hoping to return soon, but it wasn't meant to be. Our home was surrounded, burned, and then completely destroyed, Our home, once a fortress of hope, now lay in ruins, a stark reminder of our shattered dreams.

The night before we left from the north to the south was terrifying. Shelling sounds were everywhere, making a loud noise that felt like it went through our souls. Every explosions shook the ground like earthquakes, sending shockwaves of fear through our trembling bodies. filling us with fear. The air smelled of destruction and blood, making it hard to breathe. When dawn came, we saw the devastation around us, realizing our home was now a symbol of loss and despair.

We ran into the streets and with each step we took into the unknown streets, we felt as if we were plunging deeper into the abyss of our shattered existence, leaving behind everything we own in our home: Clothes, important official documents, the car, and literally it's almost everything - the enormity of our loss weighed heavily upon us.

Our home it was where we found hope, safety, and made precious memories. Losing it felt like losing years of our lives, leaving us adrift amidst the wreckage of our shattered existence.

Desperate Plea: Escaping Gaza's Allergy Nightmare

I, Haya, suffer from severe allergy to penicillin-derived medications, and my sister, Amal, also suffers from severe allergies to medications from my family such as Paracetamol and Ibuprofen.

These allergies create a deep sense of fear and anxiety for us, as we live in a constant state of tension and fear of anything that may require a visit to the hospital. We fear being given inappropriate medications due to the unavailability of suitable treatments in Gaza because of war or lack of awareness and not informing the doctor of our allergies, which could lead to serious consequences threatening our lives.

Our dreams are heading towards oblivion in the labyrinth of an uncertain future

My story, along with my siblings, represents a united team of four individuals, three of whom are skilled programmers and one graphic designer. We work as freelancers in the world of freelancing.

As for my younger sister, she is a student studying at the College of Architecture. She has always carried a big dream in her heart, a dream of being part of changing Gaza, of making it more beautiful and better. She looked forward to the day when she would receive her degree and start building this dream. But the beginning of the war changed everything. The destruction of infrastructure and universities cast shadows of despair over her dreams.

When I think of my brother in Belgium, I can't help but feel deep sadness. He has been suffering from unbearable anxiety and insomnia since the outbreak of the war. Sleep eludes him at night, and his physical and mental health collapses under the weight of these heavy burdens, negatively affecting his performance at work. Problems and challenges pile up in front of him without the slightest opportunity for rest.

We all feel psychological pressure and extreme anxiety. The war hasn't been limited to external attacks but has deeply infiltrated our daily lives. We search among the rubble for a little safety and the basic resources for survival. Every day comes with a new challenge that we must overcome.

As we sway amidst the rubble of shattered dreams, our souls wrestle and our hearts beat strongly challenging the ravages of war.

Our parents earnestly seek a way to rescue us from this hell, feeling the heavy responsibility for every moment we spend under the shadows of fear and destruction. They dream of a safe place where they can build for us a better future, filled with security and hope, for we deserve life in all its meanings of comfort and peace.

Perhaps this fundraising campaign represents a light in the midst of darkness, it is indeed the only hope we cling to firmly.

I appeal to the world as a whole to hear my cry and the mournful cry of my family in Gaza. We need the helping hand that reaches out to wipe our tears and build a bridge to safety.

Hello, my name is Abdulsalam Al-Anqar, I'm 26 years old, married to Aya Al-Batniji, and we have a little girl named Iman, who is one year old 👶. My family consists of seven members: my mother Iman (49 years old), my father Ahmed (54 years old), and my brothers Mohammed (14 years old), Nader (17 years old), and Omar (21 years old).

Due to the devastating war in Gaza, our homes were completely destroyed 🏚️, leaving us without a place to live. We were forced to flee south in search of safety, but that safety has been elusive. We have been displaced more than nine times, often finding ourselves in the line of fire, with military airstrikes occurring near our temporary shelters.

The hardest part is seeing the fear in my little daughter Iman's eyes 😔. We are now living in a shelter that is unfit for human habitation. The place is overrun with garbage 🗑️, with no proper sanitation, and the environment is extremely unhealthy. Because of these terrible conditions, my daughter Iman has fallen ill 🤒, and my parents’ health has also deteriorated.

We are trapped in southern Gaza, far from our home, which was completely destroyed, and we have no place to return to even if the war ends 🏠. Our most urgent need now is to escape the diseases and epidemics that are threatening us. After the World Health Organization announced cases of polio in Gaza, we feared for Iman's life and vaccinated her against this deadly disease on September 2, 2024 💉.

The only solution is to find refuge in a safe country like Egypt, where we can receive the medical care we desperately need 🚑. However, the cost of travel is between $6,000 and $7,000, a sum far beyond our means 💸.
