We are temporary beings hopelessly infatuated by the idea of permanence

Celebrating our newfound sentience (2015)
This is a sculptural performance  where I attempt to project human characteristics onto objects (in this case an aquarium filled with plaster and a table fan with auxiliary cords attached to its propeller). The sound is a collection of voices taken from different short wave number stations that were still broadcasted some time after their original use, which was to relay secret coded messages to international spies during the cold war. I've taken these disembodied voices and repurposed them in the sound file to make it seem as they are having a conversation. The objects are controlled using power outlets, and are made to synchronize with the voices. This is a part of my series on anthropomorphism.

I am Aether
(2015) A video installation using projection mapping onto a sculptural face made out of plaster. The projection consists of edited footage of my own eyes, reacting in sync to a combination of sounds recorded from various radio channels and the static in between them. The eyes have been chroma keyed onto footage of static which I captured from an old crt TV
