Happy new year!

This might be silly, but huge thank you to everyone following me and interacting with me! I'm finally starting to feel like I'm getting back into having fun drawing stuff, which I haven't felt for 5-6 years, so thank you for showing interest in my stuff! I hope that by the end of next year, I'll be able to make stuff consistently enough to maybe work on commissions or have a Patreon worth subscribing to or something alike. Happy new year!

A little something.

I only picked digital art back up on may, so I can't do a month by month. So I chose to display the pieces I'm most proud of. Despite the rocky start, 2024 turned out to be a good year.

I've been blessed with opportunites, and had people actually ask me for comissions! I still can't believe my luck. I used to (and still do, tbh) daydream about earning money by drawing and painting, and I can finally check that off the list.

Through art, I also met a good few nice people. I'm fairly shy, and very much introverted, so I tend to keep to myself and enjoy life that way. But meeting new people, who're talented and enthusiastic... It reminds me of way back when in 2008, when I used to spend every day in online forums. It's awesome.

I hope you have done things to be proud of this year, and if you haven't I wish 2025 will be different. I can tell you, it feels really good to look back and see that it wasn't all a waste, so I desire you to feel the same at some point.

I'm just rambling now, and showing how poor my English really is LOL. You got the gist of it, I guess.

Old Chuumon playmat illustration. From back when I played the Digimon TCG for a bit and was building an Etemon deck.

I kinda hate how the trees in the background turned out because I fucked up the rendering. But it is what it is.

Falko Taggert, dhampir phantom rogue, my newest character.

He hunts undead and necromancers to atone for him becoming a dhampir and killing his wife and child when losing control.

He has a Moon-Touched Sword and the campaign takes place in Eberron, hence the glowing blade and the several moons.

Slight epilepsy warning at the end of the timelapse.

Used the RizzCraft brushes from TGTS to give it a riso print look.

I thought I'd show how I did my wolf's eye. I wanted it to have similar depth like a real eye at all angles, but stick to my celshaded art style. It's a combination of simple textures and flipped normals + backface culling in the right places.

Tried experimenting with new brushes and rendering when I made this and it made the whole process much longer than it needed to be 😅
