Has anyone else gone against what they said they promised they'd never do in order to lose weight? I've always said I'd never smoke or abuse laxatives or do anything that'll cause more damage to myself than I'm already doing. And here I am, nicotine smoke venting through my nose and a bottle of near empty laxatives in my drawer. This mindset is what kills people and it's scary.

Why is there such a twisted comfort to returning to ED tumblr content after being away for so long... (*VENT POST*)
I was skinnier when I started this page. I used to scroll through thinspo every morning before school and take a single can of diet coke for lunch. I had so much determination back then. So much strength to push through cravings and never break. And if I did I would make myself sick in the toilet until I was empty.
But now? I'll eat anything. I'm a pig. I have the sick mind of someone with an ED but the body and appetite of the fat girl I was before I downloaded this app. Past me suffered so much just so future me could throw it all away.
The guilt of food is weaker than my ability to shove food down my throat. I took my body for granted. And now I'm back at where I was. Disgusting.

my weight loss tips
actually, these apply more to conventional weight and fat loss than usual ana tips. no sources since it’s just what I’ve gathered from multiple sources for my own use.
💖 take a multivitamin every day and take it with food/fat
mine has all the vitamins and minerals but less magnesium and iron because they can’t fit that much into the pill, so supplement with extra of these three hours or more apart, with iron preferably being at night with no food.
💖 eat fish oil every day
it can be found as either pure oil or in capsules. fish oil boosts metabolism and is good for the brain and blood flow. I eat a teaspoon (~40 kcal) everyday.
💖 drink coffee
it boosts metabolism. stay between an intake of caffeine at 100-400 mg/day. I drink about 2-3 cups of coffee per day because I love it. also great as a natural laxative for constipation.
💖 drink water
this also boosts metabolism and hydrates. drink when thirsty and do not drink massive amounts. 2-3 l of liquid a day is good. remember this counts all liquids, including water, tea, coffee and soda. food also contains water.
💖 drink tea
I usually drink green tea (pure matcha or tea bags with lemon/strawberry/jasmine flavour), peppermint tea and ginger tea. these help when I’m bloated or feeling unwell. they also sometimes sate my cravings for sweets because I associate them with dessert after dinner.
💖 eat protein
if you restrict, this is the most important one. if you eat too little protein, your body will eat your muscle and you do not want that. try to get at least 50 g of protein a day, and try to get as much as possible. good sources of protein are chicken, eggs, fish and a lot of vegan alternatives. it maintains muscle which burns more calories. if needed, use protein powder for this.
💖 do strength/resistance training
training your muscles with heavy weights boosts metabolism for a whole 24 hours after and promotes your body to hold onto muscle and shed fat, provided you eat enough protein. do not weight train if you restrict too severely, as it will break down your muscle tissue. don’t train too often as well, keep it to 3 times a week. look up ab vacuums for the best tightening ab exercise you can do.
💖 stretch your body
especially important after training, but anytime is good. I do some basic stretches every morning and every night before sleeping.
💖 massage your body
especially where you want to lose weight. this improves blood flow and is very healthy.
💖 take a probiotic supplement or eat probiotic food
try to do this every day. this is good for the gut biome which is suggested helps with weight loss. this can be anything from yoghurt to kombucha or kimchi. anything fermented is good.
💖 eat and cook with spices
I’ve made a mix of cinnamon, cayenne pepper, ground ginger, turmeric, cumin and black pepper. I put half a teaspoon of this in some warm water and drink it. these spices boost metabolism, suppresses appetite and has a mild and natural laxative effect.
💖 take a fiber supplement such as psyllium husks every day
this is a great way to prevent constipation since we often don’t get enough fiber. it also makes you feel a little full and is good for your gut.
💖 don’t restrict too much or go too low
stay closer to your bmr so your metabolism doesn’t drop. this helps weight loss in the long run and keeps you from severe malnutrition. never go under 800 kcal/day. I eat 1000 kcal/day.
💖 eat varied and indulge occasionally
you will gain more control by indulging in your cravings but having small portions of them. there is no single food that will make you fat, it’s all in how many calories your intake of it is. I don’t binge because I keep my intake relatively high and don’t deprive myself of any foods (though I do have safe foods I eat more often) as long as I keep to my calorie limit.
💖 space meals out or do intermittent fasting
I’ve tried both, but it comes down to your preferences. if you don’t want to eat a lot at each meal, eat three small meals a day. if you want to eat a lot in one setting, eat twice or once a day. this helps prevent binges as well. I do several small meals a day.
💖 get enough sleep
it’s been proven that too little sleep gets in the way of weight loss. try to get 8-10 hours a night.
💖 drink an electrolyte drink (sugar and calorie free)
do this every so often, if not every day, especially if you train in any way. being deficient in electrolytes is dangerous.
💖 meditate and do yoga
this is for mental and physical clarity and health. this last one is the only one I haven’t started yet, but I want to. I’ve starting doing the five tibetans and some basic yoga including breathing techniques, but I am working on making this and meditation a habit.
I’ve lost 8 kg with these things in just a few months. it is possible to stay relatively healthy and prevent restriction/binge/purge cycles while still losing weight and becoming skinny. it takes a little more time but it will be so much healthier and possibly save your life.

Food and constipation
So I've been doing this for a while now and my number one issue is the damn CONSTIPATION, yes I know theres other issues involved like:
Hunger Pangs
Low blood sugar
Getting up too fast and going fkn blind
Hair loss (for some people)
Aches and pains in the joints
Muscle soreness
Discolouration of the skin (dark eyebags)
Body temperature drop (always fkn cold)
Little energy and tired easily
Bad breath
And more! :D
I can handle these things, but the worrying feeling of not going to the bathroom for days when I used to go daily is something that's on my mind more than I'd like to admit... So here are some remedies to fix the dreaded issue of constipation :)
Fibre rich foods
Fibre is what makes things SOLID and easy to pass, but alot of fibre rich foods are either very carby or high in sugar, which means calories. But I've found some nifty little treats that can help get your fibre fix without breaking the calorie boundary
Vegetables
100g of Brocolli (34 cal, 2.6g fibre)
100g of Spinach (23 cal, 2.4g fibre)
100g of Beets (43 cal, 2.8g fibre)
Fruits
100g of Strawberries (33cal, 2g fibre)
100g of Pears (58cal, 3.1g fibre)
100g of Apples (52cal, 2.4g fibre)
Legumes and beans
100g of Peas (62cal, 5g fibre)
Lots of foods from the legume category are high cal but have TONNES of fibre, its recommended that we eat 30g of fibre a day, however most people eat around 18g. So if your restricting. Allow fibre as a priority. We don't want bad breath and stomach cramps for days
Drink coffee and water
I read that caffeinated coffee stimulates the muscles in the digestive system, making you need to go quicker. Plus water is a given since you gotta be hydrated
Laxatives
Ah, laxatives. one way to eat something and get rid of it just as quickly. I don't condone the abuse of laxatives but if your having trouble right here right now, eating your weight in broccoli wont fix it. So laxatives for the win!
Warning:
Abusing the recommended dose or having more than usual can and will make you randomly cramp until you feel like your going to vomit, then the diarrhea. Just trust me and stick to your doses please 💖

Favorite Meals And Snacks
Look, I'm all about fasting and restricting, you go for it. But your body is still like a machine... it needs fuel. So, with that being said. I've compiled a few recipes I personally enjoy whenever I'm ready to have a bite to eat or drink💖
Egg white and cheese omlette thing
It seems small but believe me you'll feel full especially if you had just fasted
1/4 cup egg white (32)
1/4 cup mozzarella cheese (18)
Spray pan with olive oil or butter
Pour egg white into center and cook for a few seconds
Sprinkle mozzarella onto the egg white (egg white has to still be kinda uncooked so the cheese binds to it)
Once cheese and egg are one, flip until its cooked to your liking
Boom 50 cal
Hot 50 cal lunch isn't bad, all protein, like no carbs. Your good hun 💖
Cinnamon and almond milk coffee
Cuz I'm a bum I use pod coffee (please no booli me I'm getting a proper coffee machine soon 😥)
1 pod of any coffee (idk but its low asf)
1 cup Almond milk (I use regular, sweet) (74) unsweetened is around (40)
1/2 tbsp cinnamon (3)
Shot of coffee into your cup
Pour your measured milk into the cup
Pop it in the microwave and stir till thoroughly warm
Add cinnamon bit by bit and stir till it's one with the coffee
Boom 77 cal | 43 cal for unsweetened
77 cal coffee seems like alot with milk and I get it, I'm trying to get off regular almond and move to unsweetened. A change in milk will change the total so read your milk kids
Icy fruit salad
Normies would go for an ice cream if they wanted a chilled sweet, me? I go for my icy fruit salad
1 cup frozen watermelon (30)
1 cup frozen strawberries (38)
Side note: if you feel like 2 cups might be too much (I do sometimes) I usually half it, you still get your nutrients, feel satisfied, and less cal
Measure out both fruits and pour into a bowl
Boom 68 cal
I'm aware that these aren't super duper low cal treats but with a little bit of exercise (I swim alot) you'd burn this off so easily, 195 cal for this whole post (160 for unsweetened milk) is really good considering your eating at least 2 meals and getting that sweet sweet cofě. I'll put out more recipes in the future

I found this recipe on insta and I tried it and it's so damn good and its 80 CALORIES FOR THE WHOLE THING!
~Vegan fudge recipe~
1 cup vegan choc chips
1/2 cup creamy almond butter
Mix and microwave ingredients until they are combined
Pour that sweet goodness into a paper lined tray
Throw that shit into the freezer till firm
BOOM! 20 Serves! A good way to keep your blood sugar up without the side effects of weight gain and bloating 😋
