Dear Family,

One CAN have a real, healthy, and meaningful relationship without sex. Romanic intimacy is not sexual intimacy and they can exist separately, like how people can be friends with benifits. My ideal relationship is just flipped with romantic and no sexual.

No I don’t “just wanna marry a friend!” And yes, I realize I have a small dating pool. However, I’d rather be with someone that is okay with that, than be with the wrong person and pressuring me into things.

I’m not a “late bloomer” or “repressed”. And yes, I do just say I’m gay! You know why? Because I don’t want to explain my sexual preferences with people who:

Are ignorant. or

Don’t need to know.

It’s just simpler so they’ll expect girlfriends with out being socially shocked. Beyond that it’s no one’s business besides me and my potential partners!

I do still take relationships seriously, with passion and commitment.
