Ever since her book had come out and done so well, minka seemed to be on top of the world. And not long before that, she'd married the love of her life. Or so she kept reminding herself. It wasn't that things were bad with Chris, they weren't. They were anything but. But minka was excited to be abroad and get away for a while. Maybe take it like the honeymoon they'd kept putting off. But right now her husband was no where to be found and she'd found herself in the bar. What was with her? She wasn't sure but she was glad when Karl offered up his company. She smiled instantly, she hadn't seen him in a while. "For you? No way! Sit! How are you?"

for the most part, karl had been taking it easy here in tokyo. it wasn't really his scene to hit up a club every night anymore, so he was just taking it easy. after a day of just sightseeing, he headed back to the hotel but decided to stop at the bar for a drink. he walked up and ordered himself a bourbon before taking a look around. a smirk appeared on his face as he spotted minka sitting down at the other end of the bar. thanking the bartender as they put the drink down in front of him, he grabbed the glass and walked over to his old costar. "hey, this seat taken?" he asked once there. @tinselminka
