I'm a comedian, artist, and musician. This account used to be ilovegiftcards where I gave out illustrations to strangers. I still do that but now it's about more than that.

Have you ever seen a lizard so strikingly beautiful you clutched your chest and gasped? If so, may we see that lizard?
There are plenty of lizards that I have seen on the internet like this, such as various uromastyx and male agamas, but I want to share a lizard that I saw in person.
I was sitting in the chow hall at Sacha Lodge in the Amazon Basin of eastern Ecuador, and I heard something crunching loudly outside the door. I looked down into the water below the walkway and saw this huge Northern Caiman Lizard, with a bright orange head and bright yellow green body, crunching up some apple snails.
I don't know if I clutched and gasped, but it was a wow moment for me... seeing something I had only seen in books or documentaries about the rainforest...
Northern Caiman Lizard (Dracaena guianensis), family Teiidae, found across NW and north central South America
Aquatic, feeds on large snails
Grows up to 1.3 m. in total length.

this is hard to talk about but I'm actually performing
RICHARD NIXON SINGS
in DC this wed 10/30 and then again in LA on 11/15 and then again in Seattle on 11/17.
It's hard to talk about because it's actually a really great hour of comedy where I do songs and characters and jokes and then become Richard Nixon for about 15 minutes at the end.
You can get tickets here: https://linktr.ee/timothyplatt
If you want to prepare for the show, you can listen to my brand new comedy album TEETH LIKE BEAK from Abso Lutely Records
Happy to answer any further questions.
