She paused when he seemed to be afraid of her. Tidal crouched down where she was, trying to look smaller and not so intimidating. The Tidewung gurgled sweetly, giving a friendly wiggle of her horns.
@thembloodybones
Tidal was quite startled by the newcomer's appearance. She'd never seen anything quite like this before... But she was curious by nature. And she wanted to investigate. The giant dragon approached with caution, watching them very closely.

((It's me from Skylie!))
Tidal was very much unsure what to make of this. She'd never seen an animal like this one before. It was almost as big as she was! Curious, and hoping to befriend it, Tidal approached. Sge gave a cheery chirp in greeting. Ruffling her wings quietly.

Tokitael startled a little when pushed with the hook. She bleated softly, but stepped back. Foam stepped forward, chuffing softly to the lady. As Tokitael went to try and sniff at the creature again, Foam gently tugged her back by her tail. The mother dragon crouched down, resembling a loafing cat. She tilted her head to the side and gave a friendly trill.
Sotsona could very well see that Buck was picking fights again. Standing she dusted herself off before grabbing her shepherd's hook, using it to hook onto Buck's horn and pulling him away from the not so small dragon hatchling "Come on ye great hooven disaster, let's not pick fights with behemoths, yeah?" She pushed him towards the ewes to get him back to his herd then turned to the small dragon, gently using her crook to push Tokitael back towards his mother. "Let's not mess with herbivores with a violent streak, yeah?"

Tokitael came to a screeching halt at that. Oh. Oh this one was bigger. And.. Oh he looked... Upset... Uh oh. She slowly shifted into a play-bow, sticking her tongue out in a friendly gesture. Maybe he'd like to play? Would a game of tag calm things down?
Foam was watching warily. Then her attention snapped to a woman sitting up from within the herd. She turned her full attention back to the strange looking pony.
@sotsonacearcall
Tokitael had wandered a bit, her mother finding her shortly. But now both were rather intrigued by what they'd found. So many odd animals... Tokitael was drawn to strange-looking... Her best description of them was small ponies with a lot of fluff. Tokitael was now following them around. At eight feet high at the shoulder she towered over them, her thirty foot high mother even more so. But the young dragon just wanted to befriend the fluffy ponies! She trotted along, trying to nuzzle them as she did.

Bluebird was softly laughing. Kenai's thoughts on this were... Interesting to say the least. Personally, she'd have just found a spot by the beach for Tidal to stay. As to why Kenai opted to bring Tidal home, she had no idea.
Tidal meanwhile was taking it all in. Nose twitching about as she sniffed the air. She'd happily followed Kenai and Bluebird. Without hesitation. The dragon was fascinated by everything she came across! She boofed softly to Kenai, gently nosing a totem pole, then looking at him again. She wanted to know what it was.
@tidewings-of-hyrule
“Where do you plan on staying?” It was the question that has been on Kenai’s mind the whole trip home. Tidal was lonely, needing a family, yes but… It wasn’t like she’d be as easy to hide as Bluebird had been-the creature wouldn’t even fit in their home!

Tidal eyed his hand, then listened to his question. She bowed her head down so her could reach more of her head. Of course he could pet her! Of course he could! Tidal gently, sweetly nudged her head into him lightly, encouraging him to pet her. Hyrule seemed very timid... She'd have to go slow and easy with him.
Hyrule grins happily. She seems to really like him! He has never seen a dragon quite like this before, and studying her fascinates him. Her kind must come from the sea, then. Like a tidal wave in the oceans of Wild’s era.
Growing up he learned that dragons were his enemy. Aquamentus was its name, the evil creature that spit fireballs at him. Then there’s Lanayru, the first kind dragon he met, with a very different form than what he is used to. And finally the three dragons that float in the skies of Wild’s Hyrule. He never expected to meet yet another, completely different dragon.
She seems to be much more quiet and shy than Lanayru…more like the traveler himself.
He reaches out to pet the top of her head, but pauses as he gazes into her big eyes. “Is this okay if I pet you?” he asks, a bit nervously.

Tidal chirped happily, trilling when booped yet again. The gentle giant was content to lick his face sweetly, before just as carefully pushing her nose into his belly.
She purred, whiskers twitching and her eyes crossing to focus on him. Hyrule was little and cute. And he seemed like a nice boy. Her eyes grew dilated and happy the longer she kept her nose to his belly. Simply enjoying the physical contact.
Friends?
Hyrule ponders the thought. She wants to be friends!
He has no idea what Tidal is…perhaps some sort of marine creature? But she’s on land…He glances at her large wings. A dragon?
The traveler slowly reaches out and boops the dragon(?)’s nose gently. She purrs happily in response and he can’t help but giggle.
“Yeah, we can be friends,” he replies. “By the way, what exactly are you?”

She hated the itches behind her ears! So hard to reach! She purred in relief when he got it for her. Moogle leaned into it with a deep sigh. Red-violet eyes closing in content. When he paused, she whined and bumped his hand with her head for more!
Moogle's wings sagged at her sides as she relaxed more. She even placed her head on his lap!
Lanayru gently squeezes her hand and smiles. “Moogle Tidewing? Hm, what a peculiar name! I quite like it.”
Her eyes look like a lost remlit’s as she gazes up at him, and he slowly lets go of her hand, using the claw to boop her on the nose. She purrs at that. Lanayru studies her body, black and gray with large wings and an almost fish-like tail. It briefly reminds him of something he’d see in Faron’s domain. Is she a dragon too? Not all dragons look like him, he’s come to find. Some are long and worm-like as they glide through the air, and some…have wings. Like hers.
Moogle whines, attempting to reach a claw to a spot behind one ear. An itch, Lanayru presumes. He reaches forward with a claw and gently begins to scratch, and she purrs again.
“Oh, is this okay?” he asks, pausing for a moment.

She squealed in delight at this. They were friends! Tidal happily licked his hand, and then touched her nose to his in return. Whiskers twitching rapidly. She carefully set him down on the ground, making sure he was steady on his feet before withdrawing her hand.
"Tidewing!" she gurgled at him. Tidal got down on her belly, laying her head on the ground in front of him.

Moogle reached out with her own hand and touched his. She snuffled at him. Lanayru, he said his name was. Lanayru. Oh, he was a Thunder Dragon! That explained his colors.
"Mooooooogle... Tidewiiiiing?" she said softly. Tidal had been trying to teach the other Tidewings words. She knew some.
“Aww…” Lanayru coos at the Tidewing. “See, I’m not so bad, huh?” He pauses, noticing the curious look on her face, and smiles.
“I suppose I should give a proper introduction…” he continues. “My name is Lanayru. I am one of the three Guardian Dragons in another era, the Thunder Dragon.”
Slowly, he holds out a hand for Moogle to touch. Does she even understand what he’s saying? His words could have gone in one ear and out the other, for all he knows.
