Buck being bad at gifting is such a funny concept because he doesn't know what would be the perfect gift for the people he's with - but he will know to contact Carla so that Eddie will get the help he needs with Chris. he will arrange a Christmas feast with Athena so that Chris spends the day with Eddie. he will find an equine therapy ranch so that Chris can have fun but also Eddie can see Charlie and get hope for himself. he will make steak for Chris out of the prize he won at poker with Eddie. he will try recipes that Chris will enjoy and make it so that Eddie and Chris can eat at his loft. he will lose game after game to Eddie so that Chris will laugh with them on the couch and Eddie will feel like it's his kind of therapy. Buck won't know what to buy for someone. but he has always known what to do for the two people who have never needed anything else from him.
