a drawing of the super tall birch tree that lives next to our apartment, drawn with reference, just for practice/stress relief.

this is based on the view of the tree from our five-storey-high bedroom window on a sunny winter morning, which is narrow because the curtains are usually only slightly open. my first view of this tree in the morning says a lot about what kind of day it’s going to be. weather has a massive impact on my emotional state :) so a view like this basically means optimism and hope to me.
