          Responsibility is a big word with a really big meaning. Who understands its importance? Along with responsibility comes many other words with deep meanings like Empathy, Expectations, Love, Kindness…Since our childhood we are being taught all the above words mentioned everyday in the form of a story, examples & live examples so that we are nurtured or raised in a human environment with respect for our culture, country & family. As a kid, we actually understand these words by heart as our heart works the most during our growing years. The moment we enter teens we are given few responsibilities & expectations which grow exponentially by passing years. They start sounding a burden to us. We feel stressed out as we have to do fairly well at all fronts in academics, personally & professionally. Then, there comes into the picture heavy words like selfishness & self obsession. All the me-me, myself thinking turns us irresponsible. In the current scenario, India is struggling hard during this pandemic. What is hurting the most is people, politicians (they are people too) blaming each other for all the havoc created. Few demons (unfortunately they are people too) are taking undue advantage by black marketing. Nobody wants to think even once that, “We can also be responsible.”It’s very easy to blame others & show them down (thanks to the traits we have self-learnt or learnt in an environment which is full of irresponsible people). The worst part is despite fighting against the COVID is opposition wants to pull down the government in the current situation. The situation in which we need to be together, to fight that demon and be responsible for ourselves as a good citizen & for our fellow citizens. Blaming & cursing can be done later as it's an unavoidable part of our lives in Kaliyuga.People (general masses) to so-called hi-end people (celebrities, politicians & affluent people) should think of their country first. Everybody can contribute to improving the condition. NO Marriages, NO Rallies, NO Melas(fairs), NO other Congregations is as important as your OWN, your family, your neighbors, your relatives & your own countryman’s life. I am writing this because I am worried for my family & friends back in India. It’s been 2 years now that I am unable to see my family and longing to hug them.It’s my request to all everywhere in the WORLD to act responsibly and have Empathy for others. Ask yourself every morning & evening, “How can I act responsible/ Was I responsible today?” Thanks to all selfless people who are serving Mankind day & night without any expectations.1 note
