I approached this year’s burn with one intention: to practice the principle I found the most challenging personally - Immediacy. I did not make plans, I did not have expectations, I committed to say yes, to whatever is being offered to me by the indescribable magic of Burning Man. Amongst all the gifts I received via this openness, the greatest one was the reflection of my inner light presented to me in the form of an extraterrestrial being, also non-expecting to be entangled in this magnetism. We danced, we laughed, we played, we loved, we were free, and we realized that our preconceptions of a relationship were true, and wrong at the same time. While nothing about us changed, nothing will be the same again, and I’m looking forward to discovering what that means and what Universe will our journey take us! This photo was snapped as we were just finishing the build of the front end for @lovecowburningman . To participate in creating a camp dedicated to gifting an immersive healing and daytime sound programming to the playa is something very special, and I am beyond honored to have been the leader of this effort alongside the instigator and designer @michaelkerschbaumer . I’m super grateful for our connection, brother! This task took me out of my comfort zone for the entirety of the burn, and I found my true self in that void. I learned so much about participation, community effort, motivation, and selfless work, that it will take me many weeks to integrate all of that into my default life. Every year @burningman changes my life, it feels like a serious level-up of my consciousness, my ideals, and how I manifest my higher self in the material world. This event is a spiritual pilgrimage for me, I actually only attended one party, slept in every night, and didn’t do any drugs contrary to what people usually think about Burning Man. If you practice the study of the metaphysical, there’s no question - you have to experience the magic that happens at this place. It’s beyond what words can describe. My heart is blasted open, my mind got a firmware update, my body is sore from all the hard work, playa bike rides, and lack of sleep, and my spirit is soaring high uplifted by the infinite, unconditional love received from my @lovecowburningman family. We co-created something really special and I’m beyond grateful for the lessons, the altered state dance-portals, the divine meals, cosmic laughter, and the consciousness-elevating conversations we had.
