I have no words. I’m a nurse and I live/work in Italy, my country. Yes, Italy has many things off, but fortunately we don’t have to pay for ambulance (instead we have lot of taxes that theorically cover for medical insurance..still, waiting for a medical visit in a public hospital is a pain in the ass, and we often have to pay to  get a private medical examination, so...here’s the other part of the medallion...). We need to pay for ambulance only if it’s for a regular medical check, like old ppl being carried to the hospital to do some ordinary medical examination. It’s horrible what you’re telling me, USA.

In the USA, it’s 100x cheaper to take an Uber to the hospital instead of an ambulance.
