Courtroom Carisi in both 22x05 and 06! That vile judge getting his comeuppance in 22x06 was one of the most satisfying case outcomes ever. And just look at Carisi's face when he realises what's happened!

Definitely not forgetting about that! I love that he had a legitimate reason for having that photo on his desk, too - if anyone asked, he could say, "Oh, that's a photo I took of my goddaughter with her mom", but we all know there was another reason why he wanted that particular photo there ...

Oh boy, 22x04! Carisi feeding Amanda when they meet at the coffee cart ("You need to eat."). The way Amanda looks at him when she's watching him be adorably goofy with Jesse. The two of them ending up curled up on the couch together with Amanda asleep on his shoulder. And the look on Carisi's face when she's called away:

And then Barba returns! I really liked how we got to see the jury selection process in this episode; it's not something that's usually shown. Carisi feeling a bit betrayed by the squad, and Amanda reassuring him that she's not more loyal to them than she is to him.

Carisi's expression at Barba's grandstanding during the trial was hilarious - it so clearly telegraphed "Are you kidding me?"

Carisi's cross-examination of Mickey Davis was so good; you could see Barba in the background thinking, Crap, we're done for here. And the conversation between Carisi and Barba on the courthouse steps, in which Barba says "Let's see if you learned anything" from coming to all his closing arguments back when Barba was ADA. I think it's safe to say he did!

Such a good episode!

Carisi gets his own office in 22x01! And promptly christens it with rolled-up sleeves (albeit angry ones; this was another episode in which the perp deserved to be read for filth by Carisi, and I reckon this gif is the equivalent of him wanting to do just that):

For an episode that was never meant to be a season finale, 21x20 worked remarkably well as one, bringing together arcs from earlier in the season.

We didn't get a Rollisi scene until right at the end, but it was worth the wait. Amanda was flirting with Carisi right in front of his face - the sheer blouse (that she must have gone home to change into, because no way was she wearing that to work). Teasing him gently to make him laugh. She even did the flirty hair-flip!

All that, and Carisi was too miserable to accept her offer to take him out for a drink (or three). I'm pretty sure she wouldn't have minded if he had been lousy company.

And she called him Dominick (which I always feel like she uses when she really wants him to know that she's being serious). The long look they exchange is just goosebump-inducing.

The way Carisi's head drops after she leaves ... I feel like he was probably realising at that point what she'd been offering and was like, What did I just do?

Also, I would very much like to see that "really good" sketch of Carisi ...

I always forget what a good episode 21x15 is. Another good, twist-y story and we get Amanda and Carisi out and about questioning suspects and witnesses just like the old days. Plus, Radha Mitchell was terrific as Luna.

Come on, Carisi, did you really not catch on that Amanda was talking about the two of you when she was describing the back story for her undercover op with Khaldun in 21x14? Sheesh.

A smug Courtroom Carisi is a sight to behold.

And did I mention how much I love it when Carisi reads a perp for filth? The perp in this episode was particularly deserving.

Carisi's first trial in 21x11 was a real rollercoaster. He was so upset that he hadn't protected Monica enough when she'd been on the stand that he had actual tears in his eyes when he was describing it to Liv. That's a good man right there. But then, he turned it around and nailed that asshat Markeevious Ryan - yes!

And so much good Rollisi in that episode too! The look on Carisi's face when Crosby was trying (in vain) to hit on Amanda - heh. And then Carisi asking Amanda if she was sleeping, and noticing that she wasn't eating enough, followed by Amanda clasping her hands together like a schoolgirl whose crush had just spoken to her after he'd walked away - just the adorablest.

Not to mention the exchange after Carisi had emerged from the restroom and Amanda asked if he's just thrown up. "No". *pause* "Yeah." Baby was so nervous!

And yes, Carisi, you do have to have wings.

Carisi displaying total badassery in 21x10 in his quest to nail Getz so Bucci would let Amanda go is just the best.

And that elevator hug scene is one of my most favourite Rollisi moments ever. It wasn't just Amanda being able to let go all of the fear that she'd been holding in while she'd been with Bucci and feeling able to do that with Carisi, it was Carisi closing his eyes in relief. Such a small thing that Amanda never even saw, but it so clearly demonstrated the relief that he felt that she was safe again.

It’s not just that Amanda thinks Carisi is smart, kind and funny. It’s the fact that she must have said so to Dr Hanover in order for the latter to be able to repeat those words back to her.

After seeing a fully be-suited Carisi for almost the entirety of 21x08, they went and gave us a surprise rolled-up-sleeves Carisi scene right at the end!

21x07 gave us action!Carisi (literally plucking a victim to safety) as well as some high-quality rolled-up-sleevesing. 10/10, no notes.

I loved seeing Carisi so determined to get justice for Carlos in 21x06. He worked his butt off behind the scenes, with a bit of outside help (hi, Wentworth Miller!). And he still had time to send a box of cannolis to the squad room.

There was a lot going on in 21x05: three stories unfolding simultaneously, that Rollisi scene in which Amanda is all but yelling at Carisi how much she misses him (poor Carisi looks so utterly bewildered), Amanda doing push-ups, more Rollisi. Oh, and bagpipes. Really, the only thing missing was seeing Carisi with rolled-up sleeves.
