The US military has completed its 500th flight airlifting over 50,000 tons of weapons and equipment to the Israeli army for its over ten-month onslaught against Palestinians in Gaza, the Israeli Defense Ministry announced on 26 August. i dont know if ive posted about this before but i do identify as loveless aro, and one thing that really get annoying (for various reasons but focusing on lovelessness here) is the moralization of love, not just how prevalent it is everywhere and how its up on that pedestal.

the reason why "love is what makes us human" (and other phrases) gets on my nerves is because of the inherent "human = morally good" that is implied, and the combo of dehumanization and vilainisation/demonetization that comes with it.

this is probably something that everyone else has figured out or knew already but its worth saying anyway.
