Here’s Blaire Wilson’s collection including accessories. Looks like her big ticket item is a little cafe. I also spot a pet silkie chicken at the top left with the gardening set. Her family’s inn is called “Pleasant View Farm”.

“That’s the root of the globe mallow plant,” said Tía Magdalena. “I crush it and make a paste to put on a rattlesnake bite to draw out the poisonous venom.”
When Josefina gathers the roots of the globe mallow plant for Tía Magdalena, she always leaves a few of the pretty blossoms attached. She knows they’re not quite as useful, but they make a nice bouquet to bring back for Tía Dolores.
Globe mallow is easy to find in shallow, sandy soil all through the warmer months of the year. If you’ve read Josefina’s stories, you’ll remember why she was glad that she carried a bit of its root in her little belt bag.
