Movies I think each tf2 merc would like

Scout

Definitely something with a lot of action like Die Hard or James Bond, like imagine Jake Peralta levels of enthusiasm

Soldier

He probably watches a lot of war-based movies or documentaries (if they're not too boring), maybe the odd hallmark movie?

Pyro

Absolutely a fan of Disney movies, cartoons, and sometimes kids shows. I imagine they would really love Lilo and Stitch and have like 4 Stitch stuffed animals on their bed. (They might also like horror movies assuming that it would look all cute and stuff because of pyroland)

Demo

Honestly, since he's drunk most of the time, I feel like he'd usually watch whatevers on TV and just enjoy it. But if he had to choose, I'd say it'd be those documentary type videos/movies about "the truth about ghosts" or ghost hunting and complain about how inaccurate it is. (I can see him crying at sappy romance movies as well)

Heavy

Definitely old Russian films or documentaries (especially when he gets homesick) Other than that, maybe a nice romantic comedy every once in a while?

Engineer

Straightforward movies for a straightforward guy. Pretty much anything good that they have. He's also willing to branch out to any genre, really. (Not a movie, but he would definitely watch all those "How it's made" videos too)

Medic

German films or really gorey horror movies for sure. Also stuff that's surgery or hospital based so he can either take notes or criticize their techniques.

Documentaries about animals and places, you know the ones. "The majestic slOthe" kind. He'd also enjoy really layed back comedy movies with a good plot

Spy

Old French films, especially those black and white silent movies. He would also sneak in a couple action movies for the sake of entertainment but will absolutely deny it if anyone brings it up
