Imagine this. It's 9:40 pm and it's thundering outside, you're cuddling with your f/o in the dimmest of lights and their touch and warm. You never thought you'd feel this safe in your life, yet here you are. Their hand pets your head and holds you close as they hush you sweet nothings.

Things really do get better, it's just that the future is scary until we're in it. Your f/o is so proud of you, and you should know it. They'll always love you no matter what.

so apparently people worrying about you really isn't a totally bad thing. in that case, "if you don't find it a burden, please worry about me" is something I want to try saying more often.

...and perhaps one day I can say "I miss you" although you've only ever slipped through my fingertips in dreams I try so hard to not forget.
