How to Use Tarot to Protect Someone
The cards are not just for divination. They are for cursing your enemies and protecting your loved ones.
Step 1: State your case.
In a dim, quiet, private place… shuffle your cards, as you tell them why you cannot physically protect someone you love… why you need their help to do it. Explain to them the urgency of the situation. Let them understand your petition.
Step 2: Choose the barrier.
What kind of magical gate would you like to create?
The Fool: Barrier against imprisonment
The Magician: Barrier against manipulation
The High Priestess: Barrier against lies
The Empress: Barrier against lack
The Emperor: Barrier against abuse
The Hierophant: Barrier against theft
The Lovers: Barrier against enchantments
The Chariot: Barrier against accidents
Strength: Barrier against cruelty
The Hermit: Barrier against invasion
Wheel of Fortune: Barrier against curses
Justice: Barrier against unfairness
The Hanged Man: Barrier against blame
Death: Barrier against discrimination
Temperance: Barrier against disease
The Devil: Barrier against addiction
The Tower: Barrier against disasters
The Star: Barrier against delusions
The Moon: Barrier against spirits
The Sun: Barrier against despair
Judgement: Barrier against sudden death
The World: Barrier against weapons
Step 3: Build the barrier.
Place your chosen card on a surface.
Trace it on paper using a pencil.
The more faithful your drawing is, the stronger the spell will be.
When you are done, put your card back in the deck as you say your thanks.
Step 4: Install the barrier.
Fold your traced portrait until it is as small as can be.
Unknown to anyone but yourself, slip it inside your loved one’s purse or wallet. Something they always take with them.
As long as the paper is undamaged, the drawing is unfaded and is exactly where you placed it, your loved one will stay protected.

My mother handed me hers down. They are very classical but I love that she used them before me.
Hey Tarot beginners out there! Here’s a very simple guide to picking out a Tarot deck if you’re not sure where to start. Remember, your connection to the deck is the most important aspect here. Even if you’re shopping online, you should trust your gut when you feel that a particular deck is right for you. 🔮

Anxiety Bag 🌙
☆Most of you wanted an anxiety jar so here it is. I will be doing more so your requests will be fulfilled. I couldn’t find a jar but that’s not a problem at all, instead we will make an anxiety bag.
☆ Sometimes we can all feel anxious while performing or saying a speech in front of the class. I definitely experienced that and this bag always helped me feel better. So here is how to do it.
You need: 🌼 Chamomile for calmness and peace 🥐 Cinnamon for happiness 🍚 Salt for protection 🌿 Lavender for relaxation 💎 Quartz for stress reduction 🏺 Bag/jar
( 🌰 You can also add acorns, but I couldn’t find any. Acorns help you build up spiritual strength )
☆ Mix all of that up and if you want, add a sigil.
☆ Take the bag with you where ever you go especially to places where you know you’re gonna feel anxious.
Good luck and happy witchcrafting🌙🌠

A spell to obtain financial stability
🔮Coins - symbolizes money (I used 3 pennies and 1 dime, it’s up to you how much you would like to put it).
✨Lavender - to get rid of the anxiety about trying to get money
🔮Coffee beans - to stay energized and enthusiastic about earning money. Sometimes you just feel like there’s no point to keep trying, that’s why I added this. ✨Bay leaf- success (I wrote down financial stability on the leaf, you can change it to fit your exact situation)
🔮Allspice - prosperity and luck
✨Roses- to stay confident
Seal with green candle (which represents money).

Protective Stones Spell
Take four flat stones from a bed of clear stream or from your own garden. Wash them clean in a solution of salt and water and leave them to dry.
Draw protective sigils or symbols on these four stones using a black ink.
Lay them on a table where four white candles are burning. Bring then to the table a vessel, containing a mixture of infusions brewed from protective herbs, best if they are under the dominion of the Earth element. You may use Cypress, Bistort, Loosestrife, Horehound or Vervain.
Into the vessel, immerse the stones, one by one, to empower them. As you do, speak the following:
“Stone of Earth, protect this space; Rid all negativity from this place. Allow no evil enter our circle round; May safety within our home be found.”
Set the stones within the four corners of your home to cast away any negative influences that may dare to wander and enter your abode.

Witch Guide to Garlic
I love Garlic so much I put it in almost everything I eat. The only downfall to that is my breath can smell if I don’t brush my teeth or have a mint after eating it.
Garlic is masculine and associated with the planet Mars, the zodiac sign Aries, the element fire and the goddess Hecate.
Magical Properties:
- Protection
- Endurance
- Warding off evil
- Healing
- Courage
Magical Uses:
- wiping a knife with garlic juice rids it of negative energy
- Hanging a garlic braid over your door helps ward off bad people as well as bring good luck
- Keep garlic under the pillow of children to protect them while they sleep
- Can ward off both physical and energy vampires
- It can break a spell by burying the tools you used in a hole and place garlic with said tools to reverse the affects

I made my own black salt this week!
I used:
- incense ashes - smudge ashes - sea salt - black pepper
Actually I wanted to put in some charcoal powder I have but I forgot it. 😅
I lighted some candles, burnt some frankincense and listened to my fovorite witch playlist while putting my intentions in the mixture. I used my mortar and pestle to grind it all together and sealed the bottles with wax to keep them from getting moisture.

Ritual Black Salt
Today I’m going to go into a bit about a thing called Black salt (not the cooking variation, this version is non-edible and is for energy/spirit/ritual work).
What Is Ritual Black Salt? What Does It Do?
Ritual black salt has been known to have deep roots within Hoodoo practice and is used as a tool for warding, cleansing, protection and magical defense by the magical practitioners across the world. It is also widely known for being efficient in removing negative energies and banishing entities that have entered your space with negative intents from one’s property. The process of making and using it varies between people and families. Now before we start, you’ll need to gather a few items together. Don’t worry if you don’t have all the ingredients, you can play around with the recipe a little bit but these are the basics. The Tools You Will Need:
- A mortar and pestle - A clean jar of your choice - An Abalone shell (to burn any herbs) or an incense holder.
Ingredients:
- A herb bundle of choice (sage, cedar, etc) to burn into ash Note: Incense ashes are also acceptable. - Salt (it is highly recommended to use sea salt, or rock salts as substitutes) - Black Pepper - Charcoal - Graveyard Dirt
Preparations:
- You will first need to begin by forming your intent or purpose. Are you removing a negative entity from your home or perhaps a nasty Hex? Or are you attempting to protect your home from possibly harmful beings? Start gathering your other ingredients together.
- Burn the herbs (or incense).
- Once you have your ashes, place them along with graveyard dirt, charcoal, and pepper into your mortar and grind everything the ingredients with your pestle. During this process, you can now start to work your intention and or energy into it as you grind into a powder.
- After the ashes have been milled enough, you can now combine the salt into the mixture and further place your energy or intention.
- An optional but beneficial step you can do during this to help further strengthen the energy and intent is the timing of it. The peak time to pull it together is during the hours of the night when the moon is Waxing or Waning as these are prime time for spells, although some say a New Moon is also a nice alternative.
- Once everything is finely milled, place the mixture into your clean jar of choice. How To Use:
Once the salt has been fully incorporated, it is now ready to either be used right away or stored. If you intend to use it at this point, you may use it in a variety of ways.
- Casting it in a circle to ward off during rituals or other spells that require care and protection. - Casting it at the threshold of each door or window to protect your spaces and home. - Banishing and removing negativity from your space, scatter only a minimal amount while vocalizing or visualizing the energy leaving. - While banishing an entity you can also vocalize your intentions and say the name of the entity or person that you do not wish to visit your property anymore. You can also state the reasons behind this for added power to your banishing. - Under the head of your bed to ward away nightmares (be mindful that it may cause a stain due to the powder). - If you are wishing to remove a physical person from your home, carefully sprinkle some of the salt behind them, then sprinkle some salt outside of your main door.
If you have decided to store it, you can take it with you in your bag or purse to ward off negative being or energies while you are out and about, at work.
Regardless of how you intend to use it and the purpose of it, it will now be disposed of and should be handled with a level of care whilst doing so. While it is natural, large amounts may harm plants and insects and you should be mindful of doing this.

OMG after 3 years I FINALLY had the motivation to renew this blog!
And finally I made all the menu sites (how are they called on english?) work and I choose a new design. So now it works the way I wanted it to work. You can browse by themes! So now I just have to tag all the posts I ever reposted. XD
So yeah I'm in the mood to keep this thing updated or at least tidy so I and others can find stuff.
Blessed be

BETTER SHIT TO PUT IN YOUR GRIMOIRES THAN THE BASIC SHIT EVERYONE SAYS:
Maps! Maps! MAPS! If you're a death witch, get one for the cemeteries you visit and mark gravestones/areas you've practiced in! Garden witches! Map out your gardens! Green witches! Map where you find specific herbs in your area! Lunar witches! Mark the best spots to go look at the sky! Make a key! Take notes!
Recipes for COMPONENTS! Write down how to make the mixtures you use in spells often- A special salt mixed with herbs and put under the moon, a mixture of oils for protection, the herb mixes sachets you keep making to add to sachets, whatever!
For green witches- press samples of stuff and glue them in! Go to an arboretum and ask for permission to take leaves to press, they'll usually let you take some- add them in with your notes about trees
Cool ways to make spells! I make spells in envelopes and on empty spools, what are some ways you do?
The local plants in your area and what they do. You're not going to be likely to find chrysanthemums to forage in Missouri, but you will find creeping charlie and prairie plants. What can you do with a thistle?
When you celebrate a sabbat, write down what you did and include samples! Ribbons from your Beltane altar, a pressed sample of your lemmas harvest, a scrap of your Yule decorations. Maybe do a spell and tape the remnants into your grimoire in a plastic baggie
Learn how to make an envelope out of paper just by folding it, how to string seeds, how to dry plants, how to macrame rocks and hang them from your window. Find those little witchy skills and write them down.
How to incorporate your hobby into your magic. Sigiling origami paper, weaving knot magick into your crochet, making blessed bookmarks, etc
Substitutes! Rosemary, rose and clear quartz are good for most things, but there are more substitutes to be used that are more powerful. Roanoke bells are good substitutes for bluebells, apparently.
Correspondences of odd things. Turns out different kinds of cats have different correspondences, huh.
Superstitions and such from where you're from.
For kitchen witches: easy to alter recipes. An egg noodle recipe that takes herbs really well, a simple bread recipe that can be dressed up for spells or rituals, how to make a good pie crust that you can sprinkle nutmeg in or whatever you desire.
Or: What foods go good with what herbs. You'll make a better apple pie (and get the benefits of apples, nutmeg, and cinnamon together!) If you know how your herbs taste together with your cooking. (Most kitchen witches know this stuff, but for a green witch who likes to make teas or a sea witch that likes to make soup, etc, this is important)

Thank you for this post.
I got selfmade rune plates on wood from my best friend for christmas and now I have this nice guide on how to cleanse and use them! 😍
How I Use My Runestones
Hello again lovelies!! I’m a green witch by nature (pun intended) but I also practise divination. I’ve just bought these Elder Futhark runestones (and they are literally beautiful) and I’m going to explain how I use and prepare my runestones. Of course, remember you can follow any other method - and there are a bunch - and this is just a very easy and basic way in which I use mine.
Preparing Stones For Use
• I always like to carry my stones around with me for several days so I create a kind of bond with them. I have a bag for mine, and even though at this time I can’t go to many places I’m still going to keep them around.
• Because I’m a green witch I’m also going to probably use them outside in the woods somewhere in true witchy Hozier-like fashion.
• I’m also cleansing them with smoke before use for the first time (using the same method I use for pretty much everything - put out a flame in a glass bottle or jar and then put the item inside and pop the lid on for a while until you feel it’s ready to go, then remove). Remember to be fire safe if you use this method though!! <3
Using The Stones
This may be considered a method that’s a little bit off the beaten path but it’s just what feels right for me :)
• you’re going to pick 4 stones from the bag and place them in a square.
• 1: top left - what you want
• 2: top right - what you need
• 3: bottom left - what you have
• 4: bottom right - what you’re going to have
• this is really useful for visualising your current situation and thinking about how to move on or improve it :)
Alternatively there are methods in which you cast the runes across paper or a mat of some kind, but I’m not too familiar with this. If this method is speaking to you instead of mine, that’s great too! 💞 Follow your intuition ☺️
If you’d like me to do a reading for you, because you can’t get your hands on your own stones, let me know and ping me a message - it doesn’t take much effort and for now I’m gonna do them for free unless I get loads of demand 🥰
