How do the ericson kids react to their crush playing hard to get? do they give up or keep trying? i must know >:)
oooo okay this is gonna be FUN
Clementine: Clementine would frown, realizing they were growing disant. But Clem wasn't new to the game. She knew what was happening. She was going to play along. If they could play hard to get, so would she. She’d smirk at them across rooms, say she was busy if they asked to do chores together, and did whatever she could to pop into rooms and vanish before they had a chance to acknowledge her. It drove them bonkers, and Clementine was having a blast.
Marlon: Marlon would frown, spotting them teasing and distancing themselves from him. As much as Marlon was passionate about the people he cared for, he was a dunce when it came to emotional intelligence. Every time Y/N said no, or said they couldn’t, or slipped away, Marlon always scoffed after them. “What? I thought you wanted to hang out more?” Y/N thought it was the funniest thing, even if Marlon in his flustered state turned to Louis, asking for frantic advice.
Louis: Louis would smirk, picking up on the game they were playing. “Okay, okay,” he’d chuckle under his breath. “We can play that game.” He started doing the exact same thing, the two of them teasing each other relentlessly every day. The two of them thought it was funny and cute, especially seeing as they were so obviously interested in the other, but they decided to keep it going. Why stop their fun so soon? It was cute and innocent.
Violet: As much as Violet knew how to play hard to get, she didn’t want to. Y/N felt too real. She didn’t want to risk the silly games with them. Because of that, whenever they played hard to get, Violet made it as clear as possible that she was interested. “Wanna come hunting?” “I always love going hunting with you.” She’d say. She didn’t want the chance of losing them. And, seeing the giddy way they responded to all of her sweetness, she knew she wouldn’t anytime soon.
Mitch: Mitch knew exactly what playing hard to get was, but he was too blunt and passionate to care for the games. The moment he caught onto their game, he reached out and tenderly grasped their arm. “I always want you around.” He said softly, directly to them. “That’ll never change.” Y/N was so flustered and caught off guard that they were speechless, but it worked like a charm. Y/N was absolutely smitten from that sweet day onward.
Aasim: Aasim had the tendency to overthink every slight interaction with his crush, so as soon as they started playing ‘hard to get’, he actually think that they were over him. “I knew it was too good to be true.” He grumbled to Mitch, dejected and heartbroken. Mitch, who knew how to pick up a cue, couldn’t believe the man. “Aasim, shut up. Get over there. Talk to them. They’re interested in you. Trust me.” Aasim was horrified, but it did work. The brutal pep talk did spark some confidence in his soul.
Ruby: Ruby would frown seeing them grow distant but, in classic Ruby fashion, she wasn’t one to back down easily. “Hey. You’re fishing with me.” She’d say, marching forward, snagging their arm and tugging them away. Ruby was assertive and powerful, and seldom would she sit idly by when something she didn’t like was taking place. She liked to take things into her own hands, and clearly it worked. Y/N found it entertaining and sweet.
Omar: Omar would definitely notice the distance. Spotting such, he tried to go out of his way to pull their interest back in; to remind them that he was still interested. He made them occasional goodies, snagged knick-knacks that reminded him of them, and asked if they wouldn't mind company during a handful of chores. Every single time, Y/N blushed, smiled, and accepted. That’s how Omar knew he was doing something right.
Brody: Brody would frown, feeling them distancing themselves from her. Frankly, she was too shy to ask, let alone make a move to try and spark their interest again. Instead, she cowered, hiding off to the side of every room. Y/N knew that she was picking up on their distance and - realizing that she was too shy to play hard to get - they scrapped the idea and returned to directly fawning over her. Despite being confused, Brody did fall back into the swing of things. She’d never been happier.

imagine this... mitch x reader enemies to lovers... i’m a sucker for all enemies to lovers ngl 🥺
SAME IM SUCH A SUCKER FOR THIS TROPE
“They did what they had to do.”
Oh no.
Mitch had had it.
“Fuck off, there was no excuse.”
Y/N glared his way.
Arms crossed.
Standing in solidarity beside Clementine and AJ.
“Marlon was being a violent, terrible leader.”
Mitch scoffed. “That doesn’t mean he deserves to die.”
“You’re right.” Y/N said.
Then glared.
“It does mean that they’re justified.”
Mitch disagreed.
But he didn’t have the energy to fight anymore.
Not when the rest of the kids backed their side up.
Not when he was standing alone.
The night fizzled on.
And Louis covered Marlon’s body in a sheet.
Violet began digging the grave.
Ruby started planning for the funeral the next day
Mitch watched everything bitterly.
Mournfully.
Watching everyone stifle their tears and do their jobs.
Spotted Y/N around the corner of the building, Mitch followed after them.
They were alone.
He could confront them.
“What is your deal?” He asked.
Through snarled teeth.
One hand had one of their arms pinned to the wall behind them.
The other was angrily stuffed in his pocket.
Y/N stared blankly.
Unfazed by his moves.
“You don’t intimidate me.” They said.
Shoving him out of the way.
“You can’t scare me into submission.” They scoffed.
Turning and leaving.
Abandoning him in the dust.
Mitch was pissed at them.
And fascinated by them.
And decided he needed to keep a close eye on them.
For everyone’s sake.
He watched them as they sorted supplies.
While he chopped wood across the yard.
He was on watch duty while they were outside,
Cooking dinner with Omar,
And he offered to go hunting with them later in the day.
Y/N knew what he was doing.
But they didn’t care.
They weren’t threatened by him.
And they knew he wasn’t threatened by them either.
“So, are you done hating me?” Y/N asked.
As they were hunting later that evening.
Mitch scoffed.
“I never hated you.”
Y/N laughed. “It didn’t sound like that.”
Mitch frowned.
His ears flaring.
Anger rising into his cheeks.
He hated how badly he controlled his emotions.
He hated that he didn’t know any better.
He hated that he struggled to learn.
“I’m just mad about the death of my friend.”
Y/N grew quiet.
Their smile washed away.
“I understand.” They said softly. “I’m sorry.”
Mitch waved his hand dismissively.
Saying nothing.
But feeling a kind of relief in his chest.
They understood.
Later that night, they sat across each other at dinner.
Not talking to one another.
Only glancing over every now and then.
And everyone noticed.
Mitch knocked on the door.
Barging in the moment they opened the door.
“Hey!”
“What did you mean ‘you understand’?”
Y/N blinked.
Remembering their conversation earlier in the day.
Then softening.
“I’ve been there. I’ve lost a friend before.” They admitted softly.
Mitch frowned.
Saying nothing.
Only staring at them.
“They asked me to shoot them so they wouldn’t turn.”
Y/N looked away.
“So I did that for them.”
Mitch felt his stomach twist.
And yet he had been so harsh towards them.
So harsh toward them for seeing things objectively.
The way they had always needed to.
“I’m sorry.” Mitch said softly.
Y/N nodded.
Not facing him.
Not wanting him to see their broken heart.
And vulnerable tears.
But he knew.
So he excused himself anyway.
And closed the door behind him.
He was gentle with them the next day.
Trying to win them back.
Helping them with chores.
Sitting beside them at breakfast.
Asking if he could help.
Y/N knew what he was doing.
And they appreciated it.
“Come help me fish.”
And he agreed.
That evening, just as the sun was setting, they left.
Toward the stream.
Buckets in hand.
“Y/N, I want to--”
“No,” Y/N said, “shh, I know what you’re going to say.”
Mitch blinked.
“I don’t want to hear it.”
“Are you mad?”
“Of course not.”
Mitch blinked again. “So why don’t you want to hear it?”
“Because I don’t want you to think you need to apologize to me.”
They reached the river.
Y/N kicked their shoes off.
Wading their way into the water.
Mitch followed.
Heart nervous and quivering.
There, YN turned to face him.
Eyes locking.
Waving him closer so they could truly speak.
But they didn’t speak.
Y/N grabbed his collar.
Pulled him closer.
And pressed a kiss to his cheek.
“Thank you for caring about me.” They whispered.
Mitch was red for the rest of the day.
Blushing and genuine.
Cheeks, neck, and ears as red as could be.
Growing pinker in shade whenever Y/N glanced at him.
It was adorable to see.
And all of Ericson loved every second of it.
Especially Y/N.

I feel like Gabe and Javi would be the biggest clouis shippers if they came to Richmond. Could you please write some headcannons on that? Thank you! 🤍
THIS WAS SO FUN TO WRITE
To say that Clem was speechless when Gabe and Javier arrived was an understatement.
She sobbed.
Wailed for almost an hour after they arrived.
Hugging them tightly.
Unable to believe they were still alive.
Unable to believe she got to see them again.
But she wasn’t a few hours later.
When they met Louis.
She’d been taking her time showing them around.
Not that she didn’t trust the Ericson kids to be civil.
She didn’t trust Javier.
Gabe was just innocently naive.
So he was fine.
Javi was terrified of Violet.
And intimidated by Tenn.
And both Javi and Gabe agreed that Willy was someone to not be messed with.
But then, they met Louis.
And Louis’ eyes lit up like stars.
“You’re Javier Garcia!” He breathed out.
Fumbling closer to him.
Arms out and thrilled.
“Oh my God! I loved watching you play when I was a kid.”
Javier blinked, stunned, and felt his joy levels fly through the roof.
“You remember me?”
“You were my and my dad’s favourite.”
There were no other words exchanged.
Only tight hugs and joyous laughter.
Javier liked him immediately.
So when news broke that she and Louis were together, Javi’s eyes sparked.
“Together?”
Clem gulped.
“Like dating?”
Louis nodded.
Smiling sweetly and tenderly.
Not ashamed or embarrassed even remotely.
Admittedly, Clementine found it charming.
And Javier’s face brightened instantly.
“Oh yes!” He said excitedly.
Clasping his hands together.
“That’s amazing news!”
Clementine was taken aback by his excitement.
He was almost too much of a fan.
The next day, Louis held her hand at their morning meeting.
Distributing chores.
The two turned and smiled at each other.
Cheeks and ears red and pink.
And Gabe and Javi - right behind them - ooed and awed.
Loudly.
When the two returned from hunting, the two were there.
Chopping wood for dinner that night.
Gabe smirking their way.
“It’s so romantic how he holds your dead squirrels for you.”
Clem shot him the finger.
Javi cackled.
Gabe didn’t.
The next day, Clem and Javi went fishing together.
“Do you think you’re gonna get married?”
“Javi, I’m 16.”
“And? You can still get married with permission.”
“It doesn’t work like that anymore.”
Clem chuckled.
Remembering the joy the two always brought her.
“Well, for what it’s worth, you have my permission.”
Clem smacked her fist into his arm.
Laughing.
That night at dinner, Louis smiled her way.
Brushing hairs out of her face.
Pressing a kiss to her cheek.
“How was your day?” he asked sweetly.
Javi acted as though he was about to melt.
“You two are so cute.”
Clem smirked - cheeks pink - but still rolled her eyes.
“He just asked me how I am?”
Javi gave her a look.
And Gabe laughed under his breath.
“That’s the bare minimum; a big deal for a man.” Violet said.
Piping up from the end of the table.
Water shot out of Javier’s nose for laughing so hard.
And he hurt his shoulder from falling off his chair.
All Clem could do was watch.
And smile.
And relish in how much joy they’d returned to her life.

Okay what if this is the DLC: Episode 1 = Lilly's story after being kicked out/stealing the RV, Episode 2 = Eddie's story after being separated from Wyatt, Episode 3 = James' story with Charlie and The Whisperers, Episode 4 = Marlon's story from the beginning of the apocalypse with the adults leaving to trading the twins, Episode 5 = Minnie's story with Sophie and the Delta and it ends with Clem holding a knife to her neck in the woods.
Episode 1 - Ugh, Lilly. Haha, sorry, but y’all know how much I hate Lilly and want nothing to do with her. But, a story surrounded around her and how she became the monster she is in s4 would be interesting.
Because okay.... Lilly isn’t the absolute worst in s1. I still don’t like her, but in the very least, I can understand why she’s going through a break down which leads to her pulling her gun and murdering Carley/Doug. I get it, she’s not an evil person.
But then in s4, she IS evil. She is an evil human being and I hate her but a sick part of me wants to know what the fuck happened? I guess?
Episode 2 - Like I said, an Eddie story would be great.
Because yeah, did he ever go looking for Wyatt? Did they meet up only for one of them to die or leave? What was his role at the Ranch? Who did he become before his death in s4?
I like Eddie. I’d play the hell out of an episode centered around him.
Episode 3 - FUCKING YES. Give me that James/Charlie/Whisperers storyline. Show me this group of people who move among walkers who turned James into a cold killer who murdered some kid for seemingly no reason, which led to him finding his humanity again and leaving.
Give me the tragic decline in his and Charlie’s relationship! Is Charlie alive or dead? How did James escape? What did he do all by himself after that?
Episode 4 - A story centered around Marlon, as well as the Ericson kiddos, is one that I’m more hesitant about since I don’t want anyone touching the Ericson kiddos [mostly Louis because just watch them fuck up his character JUST WATCH] and potentially ruining them.
But assuming that it’d have the same writers who actually give a shit to write a damn good backstory for him and Ericson, then a story of how he became the leader, his relationship to Louis, Brody, and the rest of the kiddos, and the moment where he gives Lilly the twins could be amazing.
And I am always complaining that I want more Louis content, but when I say that, I mean I was GOOD content with accurate/caring writing. Not something like they fucking pulled with Kenny/Jane in ANF where it’s just... bad.
Episode 5 - Again, I said that a story about the twins dealing with their days at the delta could be great if done right... except then I’d have to see Lilly again and if I’ve already played an episode AS HER... then I don’t want to see her haha

My brain likes redemption arcs, and I can’t help but imagine a scenario where Marlon gets kicked out in episode 2, but then reappears in episode 3 for the scouting the boat moment. Seeing Minnie and hearing about what the Delta is doing would give him the kick in the pants to move forward, to try to fix his past mistakes and go through with his rescue mission this time.

The fact that the animation plays as “I just saved you…and I get hug? Does life saving deserve hug?” before they finally relax and accept the gesture amuses me.

As much as I hate this, it would be quite fitting if Marlon was redeemed for his inability to save the twins by saving Tenn during this moment.

We might miss out on the piano key gift, but you know what Clem can have? All the cards and piano lessons. She just needs Louis to push the pedals.
