Glee Archetype Series: The Dreamer
✏ They are the free spirited ones, the ones who think big and draw outside the lines. Their passions may vary every so often, but the idea always remains the same: They want to be important. Where can you find a Dreamer? Any place and any time. In the middle of class, they'll be staring at the painfully blank walls (drool may or may not be included), making facial expressions that reflect just how deep inside their gear-turning minds they've fallen into. They'll join clubs that support their passions at the time and talk animately with their fellow obsessors. These are the inventors, the revolutionists, and the game changers.
✑ Unfortunately, those with the biggest dreams are often those who get a little too lost in the clouds. They might be a little different from the usual cheerleaders and jocks, and might get reminded of that daily. They are also the romantics who have envisioned a perfect prince or princess, but may find it difficult to find someone who meets their high standards. Their goals are to be happy in life, but there will always be those realists who keep them anchored– like an ice cold slushie to the face. There may be a period in their lives where they fear that their dreams really are too out there and impossible.

✗ Naive, vulnerable, distractible, procrastinator
Possible Stereotype Crusher: Give your Dreamer some realism. Put them in situations that cause them to question their foundations and probability. If their dream is to become a famous singer, give them a bad voice so they have to take singing lessons and speech classes to test their ambition and drive. Even if it's just a writing prompt or even a para sample for an audition, constantly attempt to ground your Dreamer. Challenge them. Let them figure out how they deal with it on their own.
