"Ah, it's nothing." He rolled the scroll up. He did not want anyone to know about the plans that were in motion for war against the orcs. He was going to take back the mines of Moria.

The Fae Queen should have learned to be more careful when rounding the corner and eating. But, she wasn’t sure which was more surprising. The bowl of freshly washed berries falling form her hands or the fact that she was kissing the king. Probably the latter, since the sensation of his lips on her own wasn’t so bad. And she was half tempted to deepen the kiss, but pulled away, cheeks aflame in embarrassment as she knelt to cleanup the mess before they got squished and mumbled her apology. “Oh….I’m sorry, Thorin. I should have been paying attention…”

"I was sent by the wizard Gandalf." Thorin stood a bit taller. "I have come for reinforcements."

He pulled it away. "It's nothing. I'm fine." He did not like the feeling of others worrying over him. He tried to rub the sleep from his eyes and looked back at her.

Thorin knelt after her to help pick up the scattered berries. "No no, it's quite alright." He reached to grab the scroll he had been looking over before the accident and stood. "I should have been watching where I was going." He gave a sheepish smile.
