Amber blushed once more as the other smiled at her. She gave a small nod. "That would be lovely but you do not have to do that if you do not wish to." She mumbled and slowly stood up, dusting off her shorts. She fixed her hair and smiled at him sweetly. "Maybe I can help you as well."

Therai had been traveling alone for the past several days as he made his way down from Ice wind dale. So far his trip was largely uneventful, nothing of note had happened except seeing a mother owl bear crossing the path he'd been on. But that was easily avoided. However after six days of mostly uneventful travel Therai noticed an unconscious person laying beside the road. The tiefling rushed to the unconscious individual and began checking them for injuries, patching up those that were found.

Thoma smiled as he heard the movement back to the bedroom. "Shiro! Is that you love?" He called and turned around. The blonde made his way back to the bedroom. "I have made breakfast, would you like some before or after a bath?" He said in an almost teasing manner like he knew what he was saying.

Groaning as the male rose from his slumber to see his partner was missing from the bed, getting up. Combing his hand through his black messy spiked hair as he went to locate his lover. "Thoma?" His voice was velvety when he spoke the name. Coming around the corner, he paused in his steps upon seeing the male cooking in nothing but an apron. His cheeks burning deep red as he turned to try and hurry off so the other didn't see him blushing. Whispering a curse under his breath. "...fuck."

The brown haired woman looked at him and gave a small frown. "I was looking for my grandfather. I heard he traveled this way. I wanted to see why he left..." she mumbled and sat down, pulling her knees close to her chest. "I am sorry...i do not mean to make you worry about me." She said and gave him a sweet smile. A small blush still on her cheeks as she glanced away from him. She found him handsome and his smile did not help.

Cullen smiled and pulled another chair closer so she could sit with him. He poured two glasses, setting one in front of each plate. "I do get paid." He joked and let out a small laugh. "Its been so long...it Ferelden...I hope you do not mind." He mumbled and set the bottle down before he sat himself, gesturing for the other to sit with him.

“Oh. Commander. I didn’t hear you come in.” Eleniel said looking surprised up at the blond. “Fun training new recruits?” A small teasing smirk formed on her lips. (Lavellan, somethingxgreater)

The other opened his mouth to speak but them closed it. A small chuckle leaving the blond man's lips. "Yes, it is very fun training the new recruits." Cullen mumbled softly and bow to her slightly. "Maybe you should come down and help me." He teased and gave her a small wink. "How is your day Lavellan?" He asked in a soft voice, a heart warming smile on his lips.

The woman looked at him then to the glove. "It can bend metal...not break it. Um...i can add more to it. If you need anything added I can modify it." She said and gave him a small smile. "And since you are a regular for me. I will give you thr glove...modifying it will cost...but i can cut it in half for you." She said and let out a small chuckle. "So just let me know."

When he was 12 years old, his brother Sam was born, whom he cared greatly about, and became his guardian. As an adult, he mainly remembers the smells of barbecues and backyard cookouts from his childhood as opposed to the actual events themselves.  According to Sam, Henry was also religious, believing in the afterlife and that, through it, he and Sam would see their family again.

Bill was well-equipped for survival before the Cordyceps brain infection outbreak, having obtained mechanical skills at some point in his life as he is able to repair vehicles and build things from scraps. He also adapted to the new world and became a competent scavenger.[3]

At some point prior to 2033, Bill and his partner Frank were the only survivors living in Lincoln, a town that was populated by an unusually large number of infected. However, at some point, Frank left Bill on his own and disappeared. To protect himself from the infected and hunters, Bill constructed many barricades and traps around his hometown.

As a Firefly, Marlene fought against the totalitarian rule of the military within the quarantine zones to restore a form of functional government. The Fireflies have been successful in overthrowing military rule in several zones, namely Salt Lake City but their efforts have not always achieved the desired results, as in Pittsburgh. Despite her and her organization's attempts to restore order, their numbers dwindled as the military cracked down and killed members found within the zones. In addition to all this, Marlene had her organization keep a close eye on Ellie as part of her promise to Anna, Ellie's mother with whom she was long-time friends, even before the outbreak.

The two became close, Tess even affectionately calling him "Texas" and the two flirted with each other during their missions, heavily relying upon each other in the post-pandemic world. With Tess having various contacts in the Boston underworld and a no-holds-barred approach, she and Joel earned a ruthless reputation, to the point where their fellow survivors (including Ronnie) within the QZ did not attempt to cross them.

By the summer of 2033, Tess and Joel became acquainted with Bill, a lone survivor living in Lincoln. Bill would gather supplies for the two which they would then smuggle into the quarantine zone.

Tommy was born during the early to mid-1980s, sometime after his older brother Joel in Arlington, Texas where they were raised together. As a child, Tommy shared a mutual interest in music and college football with his brother. Later, Tommy became an uncle after the birth of his niece, Sarah, and likely contributed to raising her. Tommy regularly joined Joel and Sarah at several events and carnivals, evidenced by the photos in Sarah's room.\

As an adult, he lived in Travis County, Texas, and worked in construction alongside Joel. He befriended Louis, a local farmer, and owned an SUV. Once on his birthday, Tommy and Joel rented two Harley-Davidson motorcycles and went for a cross-country ride. 

He appears in person during the early hours of the Cordyceps brain infection outbreak, picking up Joel and Sarah from their house to get them to safety. The three drive through the town with a plan to get to the blockade that the military set up. They witness streets filled with newly infected runners, people fearfully running through the streets, and fires engulfing multiple buildings. After reaching Texas State Highway 71 they encounter a traffic jam which turns into mayhem when the infected start attacking the car in front of them. They quickly turn around, pursued by several infected, and attempt a detour. In the chaos, a vehicle crashes into the side of Tommy's car. They all survive the crash but Sarah's leg is broken, causing Joel to carry her and Tommy to cover them with Joel's revolver.

Tommy manages to circle back for Joel and Sarah after being separated at a bar, just in time to save Joel's life from a soldier preparing to execute him, but Sarah is shot in the abdomen. As Joel tries to apply pressure to Sarah's wound, he looks at Tommy, who responds with an uncertain, nervous stare. Soon, Sarah dies in front of her uncle, in her father's arms

Joel was born on September 26, 1981, in Arlington, Texas, and grew up in the state alongside his younger brother Tommy.

As a child, Joel developed a passion for music, learning to play acoustic guitar, and once even aspired to become a singer. Joel had a daughter named Sarah and was married to her mother for a short period of time. Saddled early in life with the responsibilities of parenthood at a young age, he never had the opportunity to attend college.

As an adult, Joel worked as a carpenter, alongside Tommy. Despite his long, hard-working hours, he still managed to spend quality time with Sarah. On his 32nd birthday—just hours leading up to the outbreak—Sarah gave him a new watch as a gift to replace the one he had broken months before. This became a cherished memento he manages to keep in the turbulent years ahead.

On September 26, 2013, Joel arrived home late from work and put Sarah to bed after watching television together.  During the early hours of September 27, Joel was attacked by his neighbor and forced to shoot him dead with his revolver in self-defense. After calming Sarah, Tommy arrived to evacuate them in his truck.

After driving towards the highway and trying to make sense of the situation, the group found the road blocked so took another route, only for their car to collide with an oncoming vehicle. Once he came to, Joel kicked the windshield out so the three could run on foot. He had to carry Sarah as her leg was injured in the crash. After running through the city, Tommy stayed to hold off the infected so Joel and Sarah could flee.

The pair reached the highway but encountered a soldier. The soldier's commanding officer ordered him over the radio to kill the two, so he opened fire. Collapsing to the ground, the soldier moved to execute Joel but Tommy arrived, gunning down the soldier. However, Sarah was fatally hit. Despite Joel's efforts, she died in his arms.

Shortly after Sarah's death, Joel found himself in a triage clinic after making it to the highway. He witnessed how families had been torn apart and how much chaos had erupted in the world. While there, he considered committing suicide but was unable to, find something to fight for. However, what he found was worth fighting for was something his brother, Tommy, greatly disliked.
