cultured_mag @sothebys second immersive art collaboration is tapping one of rock's most famous drummers. Fabrizio Moretti of @thestrokes will unveil "KUBE," an installation and sculpture at the auction house's Los Angeles flagship gallery in Beverly Hills on December 2. Inspired by California's Light and Space movement, the work "attempts to blur the lines between spectator and work on view by sweeping both into a kaleidoscopic pattern of mirrored iterations," says Moretti, who will show the work alongside a selling exhibit of artworks from the historic art he references.⁠

photos_jdp Spent the last 5 years trying to see the strokes in concert and nothing ever panned out. Bad weather, last minute cancellations but last night was perfect. (No pun intended) It was just never the right time and it just seems so fitting that the first time I see them is also the first time covering a festival. Doing what I love and watching the people I love. Only day one and it’s already been my favorite weekend in history. Thank you to @thedramaduo and @bigcameraguyhou for having me.
