I am so happy the show is gaining traction and acknowledgment from the wider audience. This show is about being different and finding pride and acceptance in that difference and it’s also about womanhood and grief and acceptance. It was a creative risk and I’m so glad they took it because this show is so good and such a fresh breath of air from what has been. They used practical effects, they casted women over 40 and allowed queer people in the lead. It’s a creative endeavor that I am so grateful for because I want more stories like this!!

Also Kathryn Hahn did such a spectacular job and should win all the awards. Give it all to her!

I finally got this giant humongous bitch of a datacron last month!

Easily two dozen tries. Dying to the first tunnel of savraps (shooting the stun gun at those things while moving? lol) Getting stuck in the SAME GODDAMN SPOT by the lava waterfall multiple times and having to /stuck it. Knocked off the ledge by the droid. Having multiple guides/videos on my phone while I attempted yet another run.

What finally did it: gift spamming Z0-0M to 50, putting Miira in the Operative combat style, and lots of luck (and cheesing the last part a bit, tbh.)

But it is DONE, and I can't wait for the next exercise in masochism that is a datacron hunt...

Well, I'm bummed. Male IA has always been one of my favorite voices: calm but menacing, great for both LS and DS dialogue. Really going to miss Bertie Carvel. :(

This Reddit thread has a video with the new VA. To me, sounds a lot like old male IA + male SW + a dash of Rivix. Like the IA got super sick or injured and now sounds different (a la Fry-to-Lars in Futurama.)

Headcanon-wise, I think I'm running with that for all my male IAs - crazy-ass fight/explosion/whatever, and now they will always sound different. And they're all getting gnarly scar and/or complexion update post-Kessan's Landing.
