thank you! I really appreciate your kind words & the fact that you took the time to write them. I also wondered how much Xena would remember of their relationship, but I was inspired, interestingly, by the line she mutters to herself after Joxer tells her he loves Gabrielle: "of course, you could just kiss the girl." it made me think that's what Xena did, that's how she and Gabrielle got together (and I suppose there is canon evidence for this, if you consider Gabrielle kissing Xena in Autolycus's body as the beginning of their romantic relationship).
