now that you've (presumably) found your nonhuman identity, i'll now be going over how to feel more comfortable in your nonhuman identity!

though it can be hard to come to terms with the fact that you'll never physically be your identity, there are some things you can do to feel more comfortable in your body.

caninekins:

get ears, a tail, or paws matching your kin!!

spend time in nature, carve sticks, or other nature-themed crafts

for dogs/pet caninekins: eat granola or dry cereal for kibble (scooby snacks!!)

for ferals: eat meat or meat substitutes

play in the mud or dirt

(sfw) eat or drink from plates or bowls!!

make a nest outside or inside (blanket fort!!)

claw at blankets or pillows

bark!! howl!! so great

draw on dog features with makeup

play with dog toys!

quadrobics!!

felinekins:

eat ground chicken or tuna!!

run around outside, climb trees or fences

play with cat toys!!

get ears, a tail, or paws matching your kin!

watch youtube videos for cats

climb in high places (safely!)

purr, meow, hiss!!

if you have cats: lay with them, brush up against them

get a cat collar with a bell!

As a therian, I highly recommend just. Going out into a local/nearby forest and spending some time there!

It could be a local nature park with a nice fresh walkway- or it could be just the forest out back behind your house with rough terrain and trees galore!

Whatever works for you, just please, get out there and spend some time without music or electronics and just take a moment to look around :] I actually think this really applies to anyone, even non-therians. Nature is beautiful, and just exploring a little can be really freeing!

And if you think you might feel lonely or demotivated, maybe get a friend to go with you! Theres so much to see and do, even if your just rollin or walkin on the regular stony path of a park :D

was gonna type a post that said "EVIL therian tips" that would list stuff directed at more feral therians bc while i do enjoy the tips that are like "wear tails, do quadrobics, find a pack" i kind of want stuff that taps into my instinctual predator nature

but then i realized the only tip that i have is "rip up things u caught. doesn't have to be alive. rip up leaves it's a 10/10 experience"
