There’s this.. : Search Hack!
"Open link in new tab” times x.
Yes, I admit! I’m guilty! And my pc’s speed suffers from it!
But how else could one collect info when googling for something?
Well, turns out there’s a start up doing exactly that for you!
Notey.com is kind of a blogosphere hub, where they collect the most interesting articles categorized under a “keyword” of your choice.
PRO HACK: Type http://www.notey.com/blogs/   + word of choice and ta-da!
A collection of the most buzz worthy articles all in one place for infinite scroll, tumblr style baby!
I searched for the word “startup” and here’s what I got:Notey
Tumblr media
Notey also offers a pretty unique tailored-to-your-needs subscription option. They only send you stuff related to the topic you chose to search for.
Pretty cool, huh?
The Notey team looks pretty cool, too.
Take a peak at their instagram!

So, not really sureyet if this can be considered a hack or not.
Still looks kind of interesting as a concept.
Somehow 99designs pops into my mind, which shouldn’t surprise me as a fact, considering how many times I have heard that brand in The Tim Ferriss Show podcast!

Well, today’s hack isn’t an actual hack, but it serves pretty well as a key-phrase cheat sheet.
It comes really handy when you want to write a fancy, formal letter of response, maybe replying to a professor and the such
So merely for reference purposes, please find attached a copy of the sample letter of response below. ;)

Two column format is a bitch but don’t worry, we got you covered!
These two reading hacks will transform the way you’re reading.
1. fromtexttospeech.com   📄 → 🔊
Tumblr media
My favorite (online and free) text to speech converter out there. Many voices to choose from and relatively fast to convert. I use it to turn lengthy papers into mp3 audio files so I can “read” stuff while en route, while walking or simply when I’m too tired to read but need to review the material anyway.
Another cool way is to have the audio playing while SIMULTANEOUSLY reading the text. This technique massively improves comprehension and info retention. It’s also useful for us ever distracted ADDers that struggle to stick on one task. The more senses we engage the easier it gets to grasp a new idea, concept, etc.
P.S.: I rather like Laura and Ray’s voices.
2. Clearly Chrome Extension by evernote.com
Tumblr media
This one is a true mother hacker!
It’s basically a page format tool that removes ads, images and other clutter of the such and gives a clean, minimalistic outlook to your page.
What I usually do is open the article I want to read with Clearly. This already removes some clutter. Then I copy the text from Clearly and paste it in a word document so I can further hack it. I remove citations -if it’s about a scientific paper, that is-, remove unnecessary stuff enclosed in parenthesis. And lastly I copy that “clean” text and paste it in the aforementioned fromspeechtotext.com box.
I know it may look like a lot of work but sometimes it’s worth it. Plus you’ll get more efficient by time and go through those step real quick.
P.S.: I love the Notable Theme.

Thanks for reading and hope you try this!
