The map in this chapter is my own creation based on the basic kingdom boarders map from the wiki. I coloured it, added in all canon locations on the existing maps, and the major roads. Then I placed the canon locations I intend to use that are missing from the maps as best I could given the information on their placement. One or two locations of my own creation are present as well.

The Maginot Line, mostly the photos are of Ouvrage Hackenberg which is open to the public and is an absolutely fantastic place to visit. It was the best day of my trip to France that year. 

The line was immune to air and artillery and completely stopped the Italian attack in the south and the German attack in the north east. It was the German attack in the centre and the north west that knocked France out of ww2. The basis for the six anti-air forts guarding the cities. Each has 4 heavy anti-air emplacements, 1 heavy artillery emplacement, 12 light anti-air emplacements and 8 light artillery emplacements. They have cruiser grade kinetic barriers and frigate grade armour. Mounting an air attack on one of these forts is considered an appalling idea unless the attacker is willing to accept the losses from the target saturation attack method needed to overwhelm them from the air.

The general shape of Alliance shirt sleeve world colonies. The center would be filled with traditional buildings from the colonising culture and parks. the spokes would be the pattern of placement for the many space efficient 1 km high archologies we see on Eden prime in cannon, These are where the inhabitants live and they are linked at multiple levels by plazas and walkways partially made of transparasteel so as not to block out the light. The 6 black sections between them, 2 are parks, 2 are lakes, 1 is a very small civilian space port, 1 is a very small military spaceport. At the end of each spoke is an air defense fortress. The entire city will be encircled by a Maginot Line, only when it is filled with ~44 million people will a new one be allowed to be constructed. Villages and towns do exist but are discouraged, and the inhabitants know they may not make it to the safety of the cites in time in an emergency.
