for the sake of clarity: The first option means hunting for wild game, and/or killing farm animals that have been raised for their meat. Not hunting sheep like they're game.
#there is a place near me that teaches you how to humanely slaughter and butcher pigs and cows#I want to try it some day#just to know what exactly goes into the food that I eat#I feel like that’s important

dragon age was what encouraged me to slide into my husband's dms fifteen years ago and strike up our first conversation. he was a big fan of my fic before we'd ever met on the bioware social network, and we hit it off immediately because we were both so passionate about origins. my dad introduced me to star wars: knights of the old republic a few months after it came out. i was just a baby star wars nerd at the time, who was passably into video games, and i fell absolutely in love. it's the reason i almost failed my classes that semester.
mass effect: andromeda got me and my best friend talking as more than just passing acquaintances on tumblr, and now, she's going to be visiting me and my husband for the second time in february.
bioware games introduced me to so many people on this site who have been mainstays in my life for a decade or more. bioware games brought so much happiness and light to everything around me, and nothing is going to take that away or change that.
i will always have dragon age. i'll always have mass effect. i'll always be a bioware fan because it's given me so much that i refuse to ever let go of.

I’m not leaving the fandom despite the grim news.
I’m still going to write my fics, make crappy art, and obsess over my blorbos.
EA, you can’t make me forget about Dragon Age despite your best efforts.
My heart goes out to the DA team who got left out in the cold. None of them deserved the way they were treated. For the way their game was treated.

I remember how fucking massive this video was 20 years ago when YouTube was in its infancy so it’s cool to read trivia about it. For anyone old enough to remember, it’s definitely giving VH1’s Pop-Up Video.

i’m a bit high
i’ve always felt like being born on the first of the month was a lil fun and fancy but then i began to wonder if that’s just how everyone feels about their birthday. so i made a poll about it.
