One of the most frustrating things about being ADHD is the way hyperfixations and skill levels work.

So I, an ADHD person, will get obsessed with A Thing. I will research, I will practice. I'll check out library books, watch YouTube videos, seek out podcasts, all to learn everything I can about The Thing.

Thiat Thing is often a skill or hobby. Painting, writing, candlemaking, baking, mixology, tea blending.

But the thing with ADHD is that you'll be obsessed with it only to a certain skill level. Something where all the mystery is gone. It's not as fun once the learning part is over and it's just boring practice to get better.

Then abruptly, you'll lose interest and move to another fixation.

That skill level you've earned may be higher than your average person with a passing interest. But it's also lower than someone who specializes in said thing, who has put in those hard hours of practice and work.

So you start just forming this miscellaneous collection of things that you're good enough at to earn some praise, but still leave you feeling like you're just never *quite* good enough at anything because you can't just choose anything.

And you want to pick a Thing. To find Your Thing. The thing that fits, that you can finally excel at. But you just can't seem to.

The Room with No Doors is so funny bc for the past 60 ish books the seventh doctor has been grappling with the guilt that he "killed" his sixth incarnation to become Time's Champion, and in his mind, his previous regeneration is out to get him and constantly torment him.

In the book, he has a realization while buried in the ground. His realization is mostly like:

"Wait, we are all the same guy. It's not murder, its just suicide!"

Just started reading some of the VNAs and what the fuck is with the doctor in Set Piece.

The book constantly states that the doctor can't scream, even under like 19 days worth of torture among other things.

Why can't he scream??? Did I miss something? Did he make a deal with Pain??

I can't find anyone talking about it??

After watching act 3, Arcane really needed an extra arc. Not that they didn't do well with what was allotted for them.

I am disappointed that we didn't see Jayce think about Caitlyn, who he has known longer than Viktor or Mel, while he was stuck in the hole.

Likewise, Ambessa was the only person (on-screen at least) to actually acknowledge his disappearance during the act 2 timeskip. Like so the most influential man in Piltover, the man of progress, disappeared, and people are just like, oh he's dead, oh well. Dude was 2 of the only people who actually knew hextech, and it didn't affect anything?

So in the Arcane Afterglow Act 3 interview, the creators confirm that Jayce and Viktor are dead.

Meanwhile when asked about Jinx, they are ambiguous about it and "leave it open to interpretation".

I sometimes forget that he got sent to the future, not like a alternate universe. If Ekko had stayed in the good universe, this would be the outcome.

I wonder when did Viktor reverted back to human-ish (Technically his body is made of void)

Or maybe he was human in comparison with the lovecraftian cesspool that he had shaped the world into.
