The Nutcracker Zoetrope

The exhibition opens this Wednesday at Riverhouse Barn Arts Centre and the film will be released online this week.

The Build.

This evening I have been finishing off the second layer,

Just a quick text of the ballerina before I stick her to the zoetrope

The top layer of the zoetrope will be a line of rats jumping between piles of Christmas presents.

The second layer on the Zoetrope will be ballet dancers.

Each nutcracker has been glued in place with a foam board support.

Ed has build this gear box, which is going to turn the bike wheel.

After cutting each nutcracker out I slotted them onto the base.
