Remember Nightfall? I made a Homestuck Fancomic back in the day and eventually left the project unfinished. Well if you haven't noticed, it's back! And hopefully, back with a startling jump in quality. It's been a long time since we touched Nightfall, and we've learned a lot about storytelling since then, and we hope that is reflected in both the art of writing.

The intent is to take what we've learned, and finish Nightfall, better than we could have ever finished it back in the day.

Emergency Commissions

Hi, I’m Lake, and im opening emergency commissions. One of my cats has been hospitalized and I don’t have enough to pay back the loans. I’m looking for a better paying job still, but in the meantime this is just a tad faster.

As seen above, my prices range a bit and I wanted to go over them down here as well.

Paintings shall be 40$ usd I specialize in animals, especially prehistoric animals, but I can do characters as well.

Flat colors without shading will be 30$ usd and 35$ with the shading. If you would like a colored picture of a character, I would recommend this option!

Clean sketches start at 15$ usd and end at 20$ usd for finished lineart, pricing here will be discussed and established upon request depending on complexity of the character/animal/whatever.

And last, but not least, Dirty/unfinished sketches. These will generally place around 5$-10$ usd, I will also be accepting sketch dumps here with pricing being discussed.

I will not be doing any ns/fw art at this time and reserve the right to refuse an order for any reason. All orders will begin upon payment and any order not completed within a given time which will max out at a 2 week work period will be refunded. A full refund will be given if you choose to cancel your order before it is complete.

Some more in progress shots for my animated music video, which will be launching my new webcomic, Xenologia.

Coming this Winter to MSPFA, and probably it’s own website after that. I haven’t found a way to host it that’s better than MSPFA yet, it’s just set up perfectly for what I want to do.

Oh, and did I mention this was a spiritual successor to a Homestuck fancomic called Nightfall? I made it in high school and it’s kind of cringe, but I believe a decent number of people who follow me know me because of that. So to those people, imagine Nightfall, minus the Homestuck, and also a lot better (at least I hope it is).

So I made a Homestuck fancomic back in the day called Nightfall, yeah? It was about Vriska and John and alien shenanigans.

Progress on the spiritual successor to Nightfall is full steam ahead... I’ve taken the general framework of the Homestuck version of Nightfall and turned it into something original, and hopefully, much better. There is so much I have done that I can’t share yet, hundreds of panels already done, hundreds of pages of notes, 6+ minutes of animation in the works. I’m so excited about this project you wouldn’t even believe.

I’m gonna have something ready to show you guys very soon!
