I'm seeing more and more people around me in online spaces loudly disgusted by sex, which is concerning.

I think it is important to remember, with all due respect to asexual people who are not interested or repulsed by sex, that in large this uprise in loud verbal online sex disgust is linked to the sharp increase in puritan ideas in the USA that propagate via the web globally.

I want you all to remember that the people behind those ideas and their propagation do not give a fuck about children they say they defend, or asexual people. In fact, i'm pretty sure a lot of them sexually abuse the former and think the latter are not OK in the head.

If sex is demonised, sex related healthcare and information is also demonised, and we roll back centuries of fighting for having that. If you are violently and loudly disgusted by sex and feel the need to tell about it to everyone, look into the possibility of you being a victim of the american puritanism propaganda.
