Years post-Hawkmoth defeat, Marinette comes home from a New York internship to Hawkmoth’s son working in her parent’s bakery. With the peacock miraculous user having never been found, and Tikki and Chat Noir unreachable, how will Marinette deal with this new threat in her home?

more assorted miraculous headcanons:

chat likes to give hawkmoth random names to make him less intimidating. ladybug’s current favorite is “clark from accounting”

there are entire forums dedicated to posting theories about the superheroes & their home lives. sometimes when the desire to talk about their civilian lives becomes strong, ladybug & chat noir will pick a random cover story and ramble about it as if it’s true. it’s not the same as openly talking about their real families, hobbies, or tastes, but for the time being it’s the next best thing

on a similar note: marc and nathaniel’s comics have a running gag where any identity-revealing content is “coincidentally” interupted or obscured. for a challenge they even did an entire issue focused on ladybug’s civilian life, seeing how many creative ways they could think up to hide her face and keep private details from being spoken. it’s a big hit with the other students, and a great way to stretch creative license given the few real personal details they have on the heroes

after seeing the hidden piano in party crasher, nino firmly believes that the agreste mansion must also have a secret passageway leading somewhere incredible. in his search to find it he’s stumbled across the gorilla’s room (right in the middle of the gorilla’s nap too), cupholders, nathalie’s stash of box hair dye, and a hatch to the top of the roof.

ever since chat’s comment in star train about being one of the passengers, marinette gets jumpy on trains. it’s like she’s fully expecting to turn around and come face-to-face with her partner every time she rides one. subconsciously or not, she’s also started taking trains more often, which tikki has pointed out on several occasions
