this is cheesy but i like to think Mary-Beth keeps Kieran's memory alive through her books. It makes me so sad to think that at the end of the game, there's barely anyone alive that knew him to remember him. May she write stories about a shy outcast boy with a good heart who loves horses and have it be read by generations to come 🙏

Every day, I cry when I look at Kieran and realize that I can never marry him.

That sweet horse girl sad man deserves love and affection and a hot bath with so much lightly scented, moisturizing soap. I cry when I think about how he died thinking no one loved him and how I can never show him that I do. I can never feed him hot soup or stroke his freshly washed hair as we fall asleep to the sound of a YouTube video essay. I can never throw him into a hot bath with a lot of soap so he may enjoy the feeling of soaking in a hot aromatic bathtub. And like I mean a LOT of soap. It's not his fault but he was tied to a tree for so long and he's got like one shirt and one pair of pants. The thought of never being able to take him to Ross dress for less to buy him some more shirts with 90s and 2000s references he won't understand makes my heart ache with sadness. I may not be able to afford luxury clothing for him, but I would take him to goodwill and shower him with newish clothes so he may always have a clean pair of pants. I would happily launder his clothes so he may enjoy the scent of beach sage detergent as he puts on his thrifted LL bean pullover. Like I keep finding LL bean clothes lately for some reason. I mean I'm happy about it because I like them and I can't afford their stuff new, but it's just a bit odd that I've never seen them at the places I thrift until now. Not that I'm complaining. I think Kieran would look nice in that style of clothing. The colorblock pullover in blue would probably be nice on him if I could find one. I would say I would save up for one for him, but I think they're like $90 new and that's just like too much for me when I know I can find second hand pullovers for like $10. I'm not sure where I'm going with this now, but all I know is that I feel sad and empty at the lack of Kieran in my life.

The universe is a cruel void of misery for not allowing me the joy of loving this man in real life.
