Sansa watched him with hopeful eyes, but she was still afraid. She didn't know him well enough to trust him, he had just come out of nowhere. "How do I know your telling the truth? What if you are just one of Cersei's spies?" She lowered her head, looking down at her feet. "I have not heard of you, or have ever seen you before, so do not take this the wrong way if I mistrust you. I simply have learned from my mistakes, and don't intend on making them again." Her face reddened as he took his hand, and that reassuring squeeze made her feel better. "But if you can really take me home, to Robb and Mother, I would be eternally grateful."

Sansa followed him as he brought her away from the main street, her face full of confusion. "I am no dove.", she whispered. "I have no wings. I am trapped her, can't you see?" The words were spilling out of her mouth before she could even stop them, and she gave in, not knowing if it was the right thing to do. "How I wish to see my Mother and Robb. Riverrun isn't that far away.. But I cannot leave. Joffrey has me as his hostage, and I must do as he bids." She lowered her head, not wanting him to see her sorrow. "How can they hope of freeing me, Fandral? There is no way, no way. Arya is not here, she left when Father was imprisoned, that was the last time I ever saw her. Either she escaped, or she is.." Sansa would never say the word. Her sister was not dead, she was quick and stronger than Sansa, she must have managed. "No, she is alive, I know it. I know she is somewhere out there. I just do not know where." She took a strand of her auburn hair, putting it behind her ear. "Fandral, you do not understand, I cannot leave, I cannot.."

Sansa could tell her lies weren’t believable, but she didn’t care. They were something she had to do, a poem she had to repeat over and over again. Sometimes she wondered if saying it so many times would actually make it come true. But it never would, not after what Joffrey had done. Her eyes glistened with excitement as she thought of freedom, something she did not have, and wanted so desperately. “How beautiful that must be.”, she said quietly. Looking around at all the misery made her realize what Joffrey was doing to his people, and it made her mad, so angry she couldn’t put it in words. Yet she was helpless, a bird stuck in a cage, just like Sandor had called her. “Our King has many important matters to look after, with the war. And that makes him not see what is happening in his own city. But I know he’ll do what is best.” Fandral was looking at her in a way she had never seen before and it gave her a strange feeling in Her stomach, and defeat butterflies flying inside of it. Yet she tried not giving any of that away. Her eyes shot up when she heard her brother's name. "You have seen Robb? He is well? Oh thank the gods, I was so worried!" Yet she couldn't say such words, and she bit her lip for making the same mistake again. "I mean, I do not care for my brother, he is a traitor."

Sansa grinned happily at him, though she was still shy around Fandral. Yet she took his arm nonetheless, as they started walking at a slow pace. Her face reddened the little, at the touch of his arm against hers. “You were born here?” She asked, surprised. She saddened at the thought of home. "The South has never felt like home to me. I belong in the North, in Winterfell." She said, without thinking. "But I-I do love King's Landing. I am happy to be with my King whom I love with all my heart." Those words had a bitter taste on her tongue, but they were something she had to say. She couldn't trust him, not yet at least. Who knew if he would have sold her trust to Cersei and Joffrey? She quickly changed the subject. "Such a beautiful day. I do not like the hot weather, but I will probably miss it when the cold comes." Sansa smiled softly looking up at him with her big blue eyes. "What is it you do exactly? Are you free to do as you like, whenever it pleases you?" Oh how she envied him.
theladysansastark said: Sansa looked at him, her cheeks a soft red when he kissed her hand. “The pleasure is mine, Fandral, but I fear I have not heard much of you. Not much talk reaches King’s Landing nowadays. And thank you, you…

Seems that I have been held, in some dreaming state
A tourist in the waking world, never quite awake
No kiss, no gentle word could wake me from this slumber
Until I realise that it was you who held me under (♪)

Sansa smiled at him. He seemed to be as embarrassed as she was, and that made her relax a little. "I am, thank you, Fandral. I.." She thought for a moment. Well only if you can take me away from this cage, and make me fly away back to Winterfell, to my family, away from Joffrey and Queen Cersei, she thought. "I am fine, thank you, there is nothing you can do for me. But I do appreciate the thought." Her blue eyes looked at his, as the wind blew on her auburn hair. She lowered her eyes, trying to find something to say to him. "So", she began. "What brings you to King's Landing? I could show you around, if it please you."
theladysansastark said: Sansa looked at him, her cheeks a soft red when he kissed her hand. “The pleasure is mine, Fandral, but I fear I have not heard much of you. Not much talk reaches King’s Landing nowadays. And thank you, you are too kind.”
Fandral cleared his throat, a bit embarrassed. “Well, er, I suppose not,” he began, quickly recovering. “I hope you are well, m’lady. Can I be of any service?”

Sansa’s face reddened a little, her arms crossed around her chest. “Father would never say such a thing! You’re lying! He is beautiful and I love him. We shall make a wonderful couple, and I’ll be queen someday. My heart isn’t broken, because I know what you’re saying isn’t true.” Her eyes looked at his dirty shirt, and she wrinkled her nose at the smell. “Pray have you seen yourself, Robb? You might have a pretty face but you must have decent clothes! What will they think of you?” Sansa let out a loud sigh. "Please change, or I will tell mother. We'll see what she has to say about that!" This time she was having the mischievous grin on her face.
theladysansastark replied to your post: Good day to you, Robb. I’m excited to know the queen and the king are coming soon for a visit. Are you?
Sansa frowned. “Well, what’s so bad about that? We’ll get to meet the King, and…

Sansa's eyes glistened with excitement when her mother told her that. "You really think so, Mother? Do you think Prince Joffrey will like me?" Her face frowned when she heard that. "I know that, but sometimes Arya makes it so hard to love her! It's as if she likes to make me angry, I never did anything to her!" A small grin was on Sansa's lips when she remembered how funny her nickname was. "I will stop, if she stops too. It would be unfair otherwise. But I will do as you say, Mother." She told her, before hugging her again. Talking with her Mother always made her happy, as if every bad thing in the world could be sent away from her arms.
Sansa nodded. She was just like her Lady Mother, and that was exactly what she had hoped for. “I hope to be as beautiful as you are, and to have a knight in shining armor to take me as his bride, and I will be his lady wife and I shall bear him beautiful children.” She...

Sansa nodded. She was just like her Lady Mother, and that was exactly what she had hoped for. "I hope to be as beautiful as you are, and to have a knight in shining armor to take me as his bride, and I will be his lady wife and I shall bear him beautiful children." She took her Mother's arm gladly, as the walked slowly. "I know that, and I try, I really do, but Arya is always so dirty, always running around and doing things she isn't supposed to. She has to be a lady, like you. Septa always tells her so, but she won't listen. And she mocks me too, it's so annoying! And then Father gets mad with both of us, but it isn't fair, it's all her fault."
“Are you sure, Mother? Not even if I did something bad? I know I was mean to Arya today, and Father was upset. It’s not my fault if she’s so stupid.” She hugged her Mother, taking in her smell and her warm touch. “Yes, it is in your family’s words too. Family, Duty, Honor, is that right, Mother?”

Sansa giggled as her Mother kissed her hair, and it tickled. "You really think I'm a wolf, mother?" She always thought she was more like her Mother, both in personality and in looks, nothing like her Father, the wolf of winterfell. Yet her Mother always knew best, so she asked her if it was true. "Will you please talk to Father though? I don't want him to be upset with me."

“Some septa trained you well. You’re like one of those birds from the Summer Isles, aren’t you? A pretty little talking bird, repeating all the pretty little words they taught you to recite.”

"Robb! That's not true.", she told him, frowning still. "He is beautiful, and charming, and I cannot wait to meet him. I still have to decide on what to wear, but Mother said she would do my hair herself so it should be alright." Sansa looked at him, studying his clothing. "Are you going to wear that when they arrive? I hope that is a jest, and it's not even funny."
theladysansastark replied to your post: Good day to you, Robb. I’m excited to know the queen and the king are coming soon for a visit. Are you?
Sansa frowned. “Well, what’s so bad about that? We’ll get to meet the King, and the Queen! And all their children! I hear their oldest son, Joffrey, is as beautiful as the sun! I wonder if he’ll like me.”, she said, daydreaming.
Robb blinked at her and then looked up at the ceiling in exasperation. He then smiled in a wolfish manner and turned back to her.
“I’ve heard that he has a lazy eye and one nostril. It’s what all the housemaids are talking about.”

I do not know, Mother. I had a bad dream where I was in the castle all alone, and you all left. I thought it was because I was mean to Father. It won’t happen again, I swear it!
“I am going nowhere, my love. And your father and I would never leave you, for any reason.” Wrapping her arms about Sansa, Catelyn dropped her chin onto the girls head and smiled slightly, ”Family comes first.”

Sansa's eyes glistened with excitement as she listened to her. It must be so beautiful, to know magic, to fly, to do whatever you pleased. There was only wolf blood in hers, though. She smiled happily at Rain, as she watched her prepare the broom for their journey. Sansa was still quite afraid at the idea, but knowing she could reach Winterfell.. it all seemed like a dream come true. Sansa frowned. She did not know what a shield spell was, but she assumed it was something to protect them. She thought a moment. "I don't really know.", she admitted. "There are different guards in the Keep's towers, they might see us while we fly away. We must be very quick about it. Maybe we are fast enough to pass the arrows flying by?", she asked, hopeful.
Rain | Sansa
Sansa frowned. “But I want to help you.”, she replied. She smiled at her warmly, so excited to leave already. Her eyes widened. “You.. you know magic?”, she asked. Of course she knew magic. She owned a broom that could fly, you’d expect her to know more than just that. “I’m sorry, that was a stupid question, Rain, but I fear I am still not very used to this, it’s all a great surprise to me.” She giggled as she watched with amazement. “Well, I think we are ready to go! We must be careful, though, someone might notice, they won’t hesitate to shoot at us with arrows.” She lowered her eyes, feeling suddenly afraid.

Sansa smiled. "Well, I thank you for it.", she replied. She could see that something was bothering him, as if he was holding something back from her. She didn't want to pester him, yet she was quite curious about the boy. And she certainly could not trust him, what if he was a spy of Cersei's? She lowered her eyes. "I guess you cannot tell me, can you?", she asked. "Well, that's a shame. I was hoping to get to know you better.", she admitted.
“Oh.” Her face darkened a little when he didn’t know much about her sister, but at least she was alive and well, and that was what truly mattered. “Thank you, just knowing she is still in this world is the biggest gift you could have given me. I really appreciate it.”, she said softly. “So, what brings you here Cloud?”, she inquired, strangely wanting to know more about him. Sansa looked up at him, her cheeks a light red. There was no denying how handsome he was, and she felt like a stupid little girl. Yet she straightened herself, and awaited his answer.
