I'd believe that their tails are pretty fragile, and kinda their weak points. So they always try to be careful with them!

All I can hear from the post of Four's and Three's tails getting crushed is insanely loud cat yowling while Mario says "great!" Then I just imagine Four and Three chasing Mario with their poor tails all bandaged up

For the SMG 3+4 with the tails.

1.Do 1+2 have tails too?

2. How would they react if someone just walked up and grabbed them? Would they freak out and try to bite you like a cat or would they not really care?

Yes! Since they're basically same thing as 4 and 3 I guess they could have their owns too!

2. I don't think they would like it! The USB part is pretty delicate and they wouldn't let you touch them without any warnings.. maybe if you ask them nicely enough (thanks M4rio for your sacrifice)
