Grabs copies are dropped at the guest house, Issue Seoul, located nearby Hongdae area.
Issue Seoul (www.issueseoul.com) is well known for its mural seen in the garden. Most of the visitors take photos against the wall. The mural regularly changes, and it is painted by art college students from the Korea's leading art college, Hongik University.
Hongdae area is famous for graffiti and street arts. Grabs often comes to take street art photos to that area. From Issue Seoul, you can reach Hongdae area within 30 minutes (both by walking and by subway.) Also, the guest house is just adjacent the large shopping mall called Mecenat Polis at Hapjeong metro station.
Issue Seoul Address: 481-9, Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul.

STILL DICHOTOMOUS: STREET ART, IS IT CULTURE OR CRIME? Is graffiti an art form? If not, is it an act of destroying public property, namely, vandalism? “Graffiti is revolutionary and any revolution might be considered a crime. People who are oppressed or suppressed need an outlet, so they write on walls - it’s free.” - Terrance Lindall (1944 ~ Present), an artist and executive director of the Williamsburg Art and Historic Center, Brooklyn, New York. (Photo: Southbank Centre, London) In March 2013, a street campaign called, Long Live Southbank, started at a spot on the River Thames, London. The campaign was initiated by skateboarders, BMX riders, and graffiti artists with the aim of protecting the Southbank Undercroft Skatepark from The Southbank Centre’s plan to transform the Undercroft into retail units. In the belief that the skate spot’s “cultural and historical status to be irreplaceable and that its unique architecture and the vitality of the thriving community should be present for future generations”, those main campaign participants started their campaign activities on the street, as getting 140,000 citizens and members’ signatures, fundraising from the public, and publishing their campaign with use of both online and offline media. Their campaign has continued for 17 months. At last, in September 2014, they reached an agreement with The Southbank Centre that would secure the Undercroft in its current form, and also “keep the Undercroft open for use without charge for skateboarding, BMX riding, street writing, and other urban activities.” As they say, “Southbank is saved”. Seeing Long Live Southbank campaign (2013 to 2014), we can acknowledge the opposition of ‘mainstream culture and non-mainstream culture’, ‘street culture and high culture’, or ‘officially approved culture and disapproved culture’.
