a headcannon of mine i gatekept for a while about chris is the true reason why he doesnt like mirrors So we all know how in the official "The Distortionist" video, near the end, there is a version of Christopher Pierre with multiple arms and pitch black skin, white facial features. This, my friends, isnt chris. This is the real "Distortionist" as Chris does call it. Apon being faced with a mirror (or anything that shows Chris' reflection really, just mainly mirrors), Chris's conscience goes haywire apon seeing his own reflection for some reason, so until the reflection is gone, Chris's physical form switches back and forth at rapid speeds between Chris, and "The Distortionist." Hence why Chris gets the urge to smash any mirrors he finds, as he knows seeing himself would trigger this version of him that isn't the most pleasant to lay your eyes on. Chris is afraid of his own reflection, and seeing it gives him urges to break it. To get rid of it, to destroy it so its not there anymore. Yes, Chris and "The Distortionist" are still the same person, just one is a different version of Christopher.
