Genuine question, why are sky and water plural? Like water I can understand, it's a liquid and there's no one water, but what about the sky? I speak 2 languages, English and Hebrew, and in both sky (and water) are in plural form (and as far as I know have no singular form). I'm genuinely confused about it. The sky are one thing, why are they in plural form? What am I missing?

Being aroace is weird because you think everyone are like that and then you find out that no, when people talk about romantic love it's not platonic love but more, and that people like, actually feel like they have butterflys?? Like what? I probably should have realized I was aroace several times throughout my life, like when my first bf broke up with me because we weren't doing anything as a couple and I just looked at him confused because huh? Or the time I was convinced I was poly because hey I love this person but also this and this and this persons, so I must be poly right? (It was all platonic love) Or when I was "dating" a same guy for 4 years in middle school and high school and when people asked us if we kissed we looked at them like they fell from the moon, ect'. The point is that I'm clueless and it's funny imo.

A question to other people with sensory issues, and spesifically touch sensitivity
Does anybody else have a problem with putting on things like nail polish and henna? Like, with the feeling of something becoming solid on your skin.
I always had this with nail polish and since it's not that bad with it I still use it from time to time and never paid much attention to this, but recently I've tried putting on henna and the process of putting it on and letting it dry and become solid on my skin was very painful (but not in an allergy way, it's not like it stayed painful later or showed any other signs of an allergic reaction, it was exactly the same feeling I have when I put on nail polish just much more intense). I've tried asking around, specifically other friends with touch sensitivity, but nobody else seemed to have a similar reaction exept my little sister, so I don't know.
If anybody had a similar experience I would like to hear because I'm not 100% it is actually sensory issues and not something more severe.

First, why is gayness more inherently sexual then straightness again? I missed the part where it says so.
Second, how being angry that one kind of queer representation (ace-spec, genderqueerness) is slightly more seen in one place then another kind of queer representation (homosexual men) makes any sense? Especially when the first kind usually has much less representation.
I'm confused about the question
hello! recently i've been thinking about stuff and thought it might be good to send those thoughts somewhere (even if the chance of you seeing this is slim to none) I've seen quite a few people say that they see your insistence that Crowley and zira aren't gay in human terms (b.c. they're not cis men or whatever) or because they're sexless is homophobic as it implies a certain level of disgust with straight up gayness (these characters can be queer but not gay, they're the "good" type of queer because they aren't sexual, etc.). as an example, asking "why did you think it was sexual?" as a response to a Sara McCullar on Twitter about the season 2 kiss was rather tasteless as it pretty boldly implied that sex would ruin or dirty the moment.
obviously gayness is no more inherently sexual than straightness, but I am rather uncomfortable with the idea that gay sexuality is somehow dirty or would ruin a&c if included. especially when there are scenes (the ox scene for example) that feel very much like they are meant to be sexual in nature. it definitely comes across as queerbaity to put in sexual themes and then attempt to retcon them away.
It is rather confusing as a viewer to see your position on this jump from "we put in the kiss because we wanted it to be unambiguous" to "what did you see that was sexual". I suppose the crux of the issue is that you seem to want to include queerness in your story while still holding topics like sexuality at arms length.
anyway. mostly wrote this to get the situation straight in my head, though I would be curious to know if you were aware of this discourse at all.
Not aware of it. Not interested in it. If anyone seriously thinks Good Omens is homophobic I'm not sure what they think they watched, but I know I'm not making a story for them.
But no, I don't think of that kiss as being "sexual". I think of it as a last-ditch desperate attempt to communicate, not as a prelude to or part of lovemaking. (I've written kisses I would classify as sexual and kisses I wouldn't. That's not a sexy times kiss nor was it meant to be one.)

Something poped in my head recently so I thought I might ask Tumblr because like, I don't have anything better to do
So the thing is, can you use the umbrella terms "nonbinary" and "genderqueer" interchangeably? Not as labels, just as umbrella terms. Because in my head the general meaning is the same: not a man or a woman. Like, if the man/woman thing is black/white (doesn't matter which is which), then "nonbinary" means not one of these, so it can be different shades of grey, or any other color, or move between colors, etc, but "genderqueer" also means not the norm, so not black and white, so it can be shades of grey, or any other color, or move between colors, etc. My point is that as an umbrella term they seem the same to me but maybe there's something I'm missing.

I have a question about season 2 of good omens. And this is not about the ending (I mean I do have questions about the ending but this is something else).
In episode 4, in the magic shop, on the counter, there's a little snake statue. I didn't give much thought to it at the beginning, but then it appeared again in episode 5 in the hat shop. I don't know if it is important, but I don't see any reason for this statue to appear twice in different place and times, especially when usually little details like that can be very important.
If anyone have ideas I'd like to hear them.

It's not that I was bored in philosophy class... I just had new pastels and I just HAD to try them. In philosophy class. At 19:00 PM. Even though I hed them in my backpack all day. And the day before. And we were learning about Dostoevsky and I can't just read his text because he makes me feel really bad about so meny things and I hate it. But it's really just the new pastels.
