Quickly wanted to ask if any of y'all have tips on writing conversations?

When it comes to making a story and having plots and characters I'm over the moon. But i really suck at writing natural conversations since I'm really bad at having them.

A few ways Dirks hair may look in the comic. Nothing crazy just needed to plan it out a bit.

-

Notes:

-Hair is naturally blonde.

-Trims on occcasion.

-His hair looks taken care of but he barely does anything to it. He knows how to though. (Cause of Rose)

When I was first design Callie I was having a hard time cause I wasnt sure how to fit her facial features into the style of the comic :0

The first one was super cute though! Just way more work than needed for the comic and also not as consistent.

Notes: -Cheek spirals will go from more simple spirals to complicated within the comic bc im just like that lol. Always facing away from each other.

-Thicker neck now (I've been thinking about giving her the ability to extend it some, I just think itd be cool cause she a snake)

-Pupils will slit vertically when hyperfocused, angry, adjusting to environement, surprised, etc. (You get it)

-She has no lips

Very proud with how the food came out so I wanted to share :)

Doing some color testing and wondering a bit whether I should do canon coloring with occasionally fully colored pages or fully colored pages each page.

I do appreciate any opinions! but a majority opinion wont really disctate my decision :0

A good amount of you have seen the finished first page when I first posted so I don't see any harm with sharing these sketches! I've honestly been having a really hard time with formatting the comic and I've felt pretty guilty about redoing the first page so many times lololol

I did realize something though.

It might be best to format "The Egg Route" similar to the og homestuck ngl. That'll fit with the general theme of the comic, especially with it being based on the epilogues:)

Hey question should I mix the gameover timeline and real ending timeline. Or should I keep the real ending timeline and find loopholes?

I think I'm just a bit disappointed about everything we understood about the characters being rewritten and the now canon meteor ride shown with just a few slides of pics! So I've been thinking about it.

There are many interesting factors that were in the gameover timeline that was erased so it's like eeeh....

I've found many ways to do loopholes but I wanted to ask if the mix would be ok to y'all if I were to decide to do it 🤔
