This Tuesday we will be back at The Kitchen for a bit of drawing and perhaps some cake!

This session we will be focusing on drawing the people around us. So no need to be shy, join us in awkwardly avoiding eye contact whilst drawing each other and others! 10.30am - 12.30pm!

Here's what's on with The Drawing Group this WINTER/SPRING! We'll be back at our usual hangouts as well making a home at a few new locations. We can't wait to see what gems are created in these coming sessions!

The Drawing Group Bristol will be back at Saint Stephen’s Church the 9th of this month for our first spot of drawing this year! Our Winter/Spring timetable will be available soon, we have some more exciting locations and projects in mind for 2018, watch this space!

The Drawing Group Bristol exhibition ‘WINTER’ has now been installed in Saint Stephen’s Church, Bristol. A great variety of artwork to browse, well worth a look!

The Churches Conservation Trust invited us to decorate their Christmas Memory Tree this year! Here are a few snaps from our decoration making workshop at The Kitchen, as well as a few of us feeling very festive yet very chilly decorating the tree at St Johns, Bristol.

We visited the lovely St James The Priory this week, a perfect quiet and calm site to sit and do some drawing in. 

Here’s some fab photography from two of our members! (Brian Pomeroy & Seth Fletcher) We are primarily a drawing group but we do have some very talented photographers, painters, crocheters, knitters and print makers! ALL are very welcome. The Drawing Group Bristol visited St Pauls Church, home of Circomedia in Portland Square this month! We had a brilliant session drawing the students of the circus school practising, unfortunately we couldn't persuade any of our members to join in, but not to worry, there’s always next time! 

Above you’ll find some brilliant photography of the group doing what they do best by Seth Fletcher, and some beautiful sketches of the students in motion by Steve Broadway.

POSTCARD PLACES EXHIBITION 2017 @ Saint Stephen’s Church, Bristol.

Our Postcard Places exhibition and art trail continued in Saint Stephen’s Church. It was wonderful to have the opportunity to host our second exhibition in this amazing venue!
