WOW! How is it Monday already! I feel like I’ve been up forever...... Oh wait! I have! I’m a baby mama and I’m in the mddle of sleep regression! Teddy is waking more now and getting up earlier in the morning than he’s ever done before poor chap! This on top of 2 teeth coming through and some very flushed cheeks is making for one very cuddly little boy during the day right now! Can’t beat a baby snuggle tho! Soooooo! I’ve been away a while with no explanation- Sorry! Mr T is taking up most of my time so taken a little ‘maternity leave’ over Christmas and New Year so I’ll be back bigging up babies and beauty in February! Sooooo I’ve seen a lot of #ThankYouMidwife posts recently and felt I had to join in as the Midwife who was with me and my husband when I had Teddy was the most AMAZING lady ever! Not only did she act like my personal cheer leader, she was hugely funny, hugely positive and made sure I didn’t have a clue about any of the complications that were going on that could’ve meant I went from calm and collected to super stressed which made my labour painful but wonderful at the same time! So even with being induced, being strapped to machines when Teddy went into distress when my waters broke and my heart rate going through the roof, I felt safe and knew my little boy was safe too thanks to the lovely Helen! She even made sure I did don’t know I had a major bleed after delivery by ensuring Teddy was in my arms wearing an amazingly bright hat as soon as he’d been checked over! So the last week or so everyone at Beauty Addict HQ has been under the weather including PugChops! He has an eye ulcer that’s not improving and now needs surgery which is worrying the hell out of me as he could end up blind or with one eye! Pugs also don’t do well under anaesthetic so tomorrow will not be a fun day for us at all!
