I'm back :)
Hey friends, long time no see! Well read but whatever :)
Life has been a whirl wind but so many good things have happened. I got my feeding tube removed because I can sustain myself without it. I'm in college now yay! I'm studying to become a Pediatric ICU nurse at a really good university. I have been dealing with horrible vestibular migraines but I can push through them most of the time. I got infusions for CRPS and it was a lifesaver and helped so much. Thanks for everyone who stuck with me for the five months I've been away.
-Annabelle :)

Vent Post
I can't F*CKING believe this. I'm having MALS surgery next Saturday (yay!) but my dad has to be a selfish piece of shit and wants to cancel and reschedule so he can get his covid vaccine. He thinks getting a vaccine is more important then his daughter finally being able to (hopefully) eat again! He said that it would be easier to reschedule the surgery because it would take a couple weeks before he can get the vaccine if he cancels his appointment. If I try to cancel the surgery it will takes probably at least another 5 months before I can get surgery again. Had a full meltdown and screamed at him while on the phone, telling him that my surgery is 100% more important than the vaccine. I want to eat, I want to not be in pain anymore, he doesn't know what it's like to live with my condition. He can stay home for a couple more weeks but I can't stay in horrible pain, puking every single day for a couple more months. Anyways sorry for venting, I'm just really upset and writing this while sobbing.

“Those poor boys”
“She deserves to be punished too.”
“I’m not saying I support rape, but-”
“Sorry to say - she deserved it.”
“She put herself in harm’s way”
“But if she was fingered, then that’s not rape.”
“She ruined their lives.”

Read this and save a life - YOUR OWN
From a surgical nurse and certified CPR teacher:
Please pause for 2 minutes and read this:
1. Let’s say it’s 7.25pm and you’re going home (alone of course) after an unusually hard day on the job.
2. You’re really tired, upset and frustrated.
3 Suddenly you start experiencing severe pain in your chest that starts to drag out into your arm and up in to your jaw. You are only about five km from the hospital nearest your home.
4. Unfortunately you don’t know if you’ll be able to make it that far.
5. You have been trained in CPR, but the guy who taught the course did not tell you how to perform it on yourself.
6. HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE? Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness.
7. However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest. A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again.
8. Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can get to a hospital.
9. Tell as many other people as possible about this. It could save their lives!!
10. A cardiologist says If everyone who gets this mail kindly sends it to 10 people, you can bet that we’ll save at least one life.
11. Rather than sending jokes, please... contribute by forwarding this mail which can save a person’s life.
12. If this message comes around you... more than once… please don’t get irritated... You should instead, be happy that you have many friends who care about you & keeps reminding you how to deal with a Heart attack.
please take the time and boost this post by reposting it and sending it to those you love because we all need to understand how to quickly deal with heart attacks

I’ve seen a lot of posts on my dash tonight about users who are threatening suicide, with other Tumblr members posting in effort to try to get ahold of them. I think you all should see this:
IF THERE IS EVER A TUMBLR USER WHO HAS POSTED A GOOD-BYE MESSAGE, SUICIDE NOTE, VIDEO, OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT, PLEASE FOLLOW THIS POST.
1. Scroll to the top of your dashboard.
2. See the circular question mark icon at the top? It’s the third one over from your home symbol. Click on that, and a screen similar to the one in the picture will come up.
3. Where you can type in questions, the box with the magnifying glass at the top, type in the word “suicide.”
4. Click on the first link that shows up. It should say, “Pass the URL of the blog on to us.”
5. Type in the user’s URL and tell Tumblr admin that the user is contemplating suicide and has posted a message indicating that they are going through with it or will be attempting. Hit send! Tumblr administration will perform a number of actions to contact the user and take the necessary steps to prevent the suicide.
TUMBLR: THIS COULD SAVE A USER’S LIFE. PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE SUICIDE THREATS.
Reblog this to keep other users aware. Suicide isn’t a joke, and neither is someone’s life. If you didn’t know this, someone else may not, either. Pass it on.

I know I haven't been very active on here lately so I wanted to give an explanation. I was very behind on school work because my chronic illnesses were taking so much out of me. I needed to get all my credits so I could do early grad which I did and I'm really excited about. MALS surgery is happening at the end of April and then I will most likely be getting a GJ tube in May. I'm trying really hard to stay positive and remember how strong I am.

My dog walks away when we make eye contact... I'm pretty sure she's scared of my IV pole...
When dogs make eye contact with you and start wagging their tail, then you start talking to them and they wag it harder
Reblog if u agree
