OMG ITS WIP WEDNESDAY AND I FINALLY HAVE SOMETHING TO POST

“Ah, hello. You’re Mrs. Shirakawa, correct?” He chirps. “I’m Akechi Goro, and I’m a detective. I need to discuss with you regarding your husband…” The woman’s eyebrows rise. "Oh... well, come in. I'll make you some tea. I'm guessing there's a lot we need to discuss..." The inside of the home is bleakly lived-in, like it's both a living space and a dying space. A cell in the form of beige walls and dusty red carpeting. Mrs. Shirakawa herself doesn't seem too ecstatic about it either. Akechi’s lived in a full house before—he knows of the continuous buzz of multiple inhabitants, whether it be clattering plates or children running down the hall. At least, he’d heard it through the walls when he was reading, because whoever his siblings were that month didn’t want to play with him. The noise is not present here. It’s dead quiet; not even Mrs. Shirakawa’s feet make a sound against her floor, like she doesn’t want to be heard. One wouldn’t even suspect there are people living here. Pictures along the wall frame her and her husband hand-in-hand, but the only hand this woman holds now is her own as she sits Akechi down on the seat across from hers.
