Tesni returns the smile, turning to leave before pausing with a sigh, turning back to Tweek.

“Oh and, I know he’s super annoying, but try and stay away from Jo too. Angel really likes him for some reason and I’d hate for her to be sad if you turned him into a puppet.”

Satisfied that the two people she genuinely cares about will be safe from the latest example of South Park bullshit, Tesni walks away to get to work.

“So like, I get you’re a demon now and everything, but if you could avoid turning any raisins customers into puppets, that’d be great. I need the money from their tips. Other than that, you do you. Love to see a girlboss era.”

Tesni looks up from her nails that she was previously inspecting.

“Oh, and if you go anywhere near my girlfriend I won’t hesitate to go all cythreulig on your ass.”

Imaginary camera pans to where Jo is standing a few feet away (office style), face palming. Next time he’s going to supervise her, for now he needs to go save her before she starts panic-crying, making a bigger spectacle of herself than she already has.

“Oh-Kay…” Jo quickly makes his way over, grabbing Angel by the shoulders to drag her away, “Sorry about that, it’s her first day on earth apparently.”

“Hi Tweek.”

Jo told Angel to be more social with their classmates, so she’s approaching anyone she finds interesting.

“My dad told me that caffeine makes your heart explode… So, uh… You think yours is gonna explode soon?”

U-Uhm….interesting conversation — mngh — s-starter..

She stares at him for a moment, internally panicking as she realises she’s just started a conversation in quite possibly the weirdest way possible. Luckily, Jo wrote some small talk prompts on her hand… Too bad her hands are sweaty and they’re smudged a little.

“So, uh…” Quickly glances down at her hand “Weather… It’s, uhm, really weather-ing, huh?”

“Hi Tweek.”

Jo told Angel to be more social with their classmates, so she’s approaching anyone she finds interesting.

“My dad told me that caffeine makes your heart explode… So, uh… You think yours is gonna explode soon?”

Here’s pt 1 of a little Tesni & Angel comic

Tesni Perkins:

Tesni works at raisins and genuinely loves the uniform so she wears it all the time (she is constantly getting dress-coded and has had multiple arguments with PC Principal about it, as well as constantly being put in detention). She lives with her mum, Gaynor, and her dad, Ifan. She has a bit of a troubled relationship with her parents and doesn’t really care for them and can’t wait until she can move away and leave them. She cares about her appearance and reputation a lot, but she’s very headstrong and doesn’t easily fall into trends or peer pressure. Tesni acts quite aloof, but she does genuinely care about her friends - especially since she’s usually the one getting them out of trouble. That being said, though, Tesni will do anything, anything, for money…

Tesni has her moments of softness, however, especially when it comes to Angel. The bracelet on Tesni’s wrist is one that Angel made for her and she wears it everyday. She bought them their matching necklaces in return, breaking her strict “no spending, keep saving” rule to do so.

Tesni is extroverted, has the ability to talk to and befriend anyone (why she’s so good at her job) but doesn’t do it often because “people are too much drama”. (It’s her, she’s the drama)

Angel Matthews:

Angel has a really strict dad and isn’t allowed to do the same things, or go to the same places, as her friends. That doesn’t stop her from trying, even if it means getting yelled at and grounded for a couple days. She can be kind of gullible at times, taking almost everything literally and at face value. This sometimes gets taken advantage of by people at school, but Jo, Tesni and her older brother, James, are always there to save her from whatever stupid thing she’s gotten herself roped into. She can also be really blunt and will blurt out things without really thinking about it, getting herself in trouble often.

Angel is constantly making things for and giving things to her friends, a part of her believing that you have to buy friendship through gifts. To a stranger, she’s not very talkative, sometimes she’ll be silent for days, but to her friends she is a headache to listen to. If it’s not a barrage of stupid hypotheticals, it’s her insistent anxious ramblings about whatever has most recently freaked her out (9/10 times its moths or other flying insects).

The first person she met in South Park was Butters, and she’s been friends with him ever since. Then on her first day of school, baring witness to a fight between two of her classmates being arranged, she met Jo - becoming friends with him quickly too because they bonded over being northerners. On her second week of school, after a visit from the sexual harassment panda, Angel made the mistake of trying to compliment Tesni and got sued by her. Once the fad of suing people blew over, Tesni apologised (explaining she heard that suing people effectively meant free money) and they became friends.

Jo Wilkinson:

Believe it or not, but Jo is smiling in that picture, he just doesn’t quite know how to smile on command - ending up looking like a dog baring it’s teeth instead. Jo is also clueless and never knows what is going on ; in class, in his friend groups, in his family, in the general world, in his own body… No thoughts, smooth brain, type of guy. Despite having lived in South Park his entire life, Jo’s accent is a confusing mix of his parent’s accents with a hint of an American twang with certain words.

The only things Jo is sure of is as follows:

- He’s a boy (🏳️‍⚧️)

- He 100% finds fellow boys to be more than just friends (🏳️‍🌈)

- Haggis is amazing and he’d eat it for the rest of his life if he could

- Lego Ninjago is the best show ever made and anyone who disagrees can get hit by a bus for all he cares

Jo is pretty much friends with everyone, one of those kids that could get sat next to the quiet kid by the teacher and leave the classroom with plans to hang out with the quiet kid later that day. He was even friendly (amicable) toward Cartman for a while, but then Cartman said Ninjago and ninja’s were gay, so Jo now hates him, regularly pretending he doesn’t exist because he knows how much it pisses Cartman off.

We’re the cooler group of foreign kids at South Park elementary!

Technically only one of us is, by definition, a foreign immigrant, but all these american kids don’t care about the literal definition, so we’re all foreign kids!!

“Hi I’m Angel, and I’m the only one of us who wasn’t born in South Park. I moved to America from England when I was eight, so when I was in the third grade. I live with my parents and my older brother and younger sister, who I unfortunately have to share a room with.”

“I’ve been friends with Jo ever since moving here, we tell everyone we’re cousins because my family is from near enough the same place that Jo’s dad is from. And I’ve been friends with Tesni ever since she tried to sue me for sexual harassment… We’re good friends now, we even have matching necklaces!”

“A’ight? I’m Jo. Idk why I let these two talk me into this, but oh well I’m here now… Me mum is Scottish and me dad is from England. They moved to South Park when me mum was pregnant with me because they didn’t wanna pay their telly licence, but now they’ve gotta pay for healthcare so I guess they didn’t really think that through.”

“Me mum an’ dad are alright though, even if they are a bit daft sometimes. They’ve been propper sound with me being trans. Told them I was a lad when I was in kindergarten, they just told me it was sound and asked me if I wanted to watch the footy with them. It’s funny though, because whenever someone asks me if I used to be a lass I just say nah and make them question their sanity. Propper funny to watch that.”

“Hey cuties, I’m Tesni and I’ll be your serv- Fuck, force of habit… I’m Tesni and I’m literally one of the hottest girls in our grade, no joke. Like, I might not be a cheerleader or anything, but I work at raisins and I get the most tips, so yeah… Ugly girls don’t get loads of tips, not how it works in this society, unlucky for all those ugly girls.”

“Tesni, be nice. You’re trying to show off again.”

“Ugh, whatever. Anyway. My parents decided that this shithole town was better than their old house in Wales, and they brought me along with them in the womb. I’m trying to get as much money as possible so I can move away and become a rich model in like LA or something and forget all about this bum-fuck town.”

“I might bring Angel along with me too, she’s alright I guess…”
